Don't waste your money,

This review is from: Progressive International 4-Cup Gravy Separator (Kitchen)
This product does separate the fat BUT small bits of meat or vegetables will stop up the spout and the plastic is not heat resistant. Mine cracked the first time I used it and after the second use it had to go in the trash can.

Could be more heat resistant,

Although I thought this product worked well in removing excess fat, it now has several long cracks in it and will have to be replaced in the very near future. This is really annoying since I've only had it for a couple of months. I plan on buying a [upgraded]glass separator.

Perfect for Thanksgiving!,
This review is from: Progressive International 4-Cup Gravy Separator (Kitchen)
When making your Turkey gravy for Thanksgiving or when making any gravy, this is invaluable. Simply pour the juices into the gravy separator.
THEN. Let it sit! This allows the fats to rise to the top. When you pour out the juices they come out through the base of the spout, so all the fat gets left at the top. Stop pouring when you see fat starting to seep into the pouring spout. It really is that simple. The handle doesn't heat up and it is very safe to use. ~The Rebecca Review
