these knives were bought after using those belonging to a friend. They were disappointing...not as sharp as hers or an old stainless steel one I've been using for years.
What's up with that?

These set of knives do the job! I put them to the test from day one. They were sharp enough to slice bread thin and for peeling an orange just fine.
I had a solitary green knife for well over one year that i took from Mom's drawer when I went over and it is still sharp. When i found the full set on Amazon, I had to have them!

These knives are cute and convenient, quality is what you'd expect for the price. It remains to be seen how long the plastic handles last. The weirdest thing though, is that the green one doesn't come with the protective cover. The package was sealed so apparently only 3 have the covers but the picture clearly shows all 4. Very strange.

I use them very often. And would buy again. I already even have to use my old knifes any more

I bought these looking for a Christmas gift for someone in my office. I ended up giving 2 away and keeping 2 of them. They were a great value for the money I spent!

I bought these knives so I'd have one to keep in my lunch bag and it's perfect for that (I kept the green one and it even matches the monogram on my bag). I gave one away and will either keep the others or save them for later. They're not super-sharp, but I didn't need a very sharp knife - just one with a cover, and these are perfect for me.

Great knives, very sharp, with the color it is easy to determine which knife to use for what type of food, especially if you are in a hurry or pressed for time
