The good (Function):

1) Rubber non-slip base and good weighting
2) Clear plastic, allows full view of soap level
3) Long spout allows easy access to sink. No counter spills!
4) Smooth pumping action - no clogs
5) Pump goes all the way to the bottom - "sucks" it all out!
6) Wide opening makes it easy to transfer soap from a large
bottle.

The bad (Aesthetics):

1) Not beautiful (not horribly ugly either)
2) No choice of color. Would have preferred white to match
kitchen appliances.

Verdict:

Function wins out over aesthetics. Highly recommended.

While searching for the perfect kitchen soap dispenser on Amazon, I came across two which looked identical at first. In reading the reviews of both I noticed a huge difference in customer satisfaction. Looking closer at the photos of each there was a slight difference between the two. DON'T BE FOOLED! The Progressive International Soap Dispenser is the best! Beautiful AND durable. My husband hasn't broken it yet...AMAZING!
UPDATE 18 months later~
The husband finally broke it. Dropping from a height of 4 ft while refilling will crack the clear container.
I am ordering a replacement because this is a great product. The husband gets a second chance also.

The picture online makes it look a lot better than it really does. However, it's functional and sturdy. The pump works well, but pumps a little bit more soap than I would prefer. Overall a decent dispenser. I would not buy it again, but I'm not sending it back.

I ordered these to use in my extra bathroom for lotion and soap. After I received them I found the spout was to long so I used them in my kitchen where it looks better. They just did not go with my other decoration in that bathroom. The unit works well and dispenses my soap as with the long spout it reaches over the sink with no dripping on my counter.

Tall, clear (you can see how much soap is left), long spout that won't mess up the edge of the sink, non-skid bottom, and long-lasting.
Love it and use it at home and at the office.

I know I shouldn't get overly excited about a soap dispenser, but this one is great! I have bought many dispensers (and have recycled ones from other products) that ended up in the garbage, but not this one.I am here buying another one for each bathroom.

My problems with other dispensers have been:
1. The pump stops working all together (this happens to me alot!)
2. They leave a mark or rust stain on the counter
3. They are heaver on the top and tip over
4. They are ceramic and chip when my kids knock them over
5. The stainless ones without liners smell icky and corrode from soap
6. They are too hard to fill
7. The dispenser button is too small to push easily
8. They are too small and I have to fill them every week or so.

This one has none of those problems! It is easy to fill and pump, it has been pumping away in a busy kitchen for 2 years, and we rarely knock it over (even if we do, it is fine.) As an added bonus, the spout is long and drips end up in the sink. I also like that you can see how much soap is left. I can buy the big bottles of dishsoap or handsoap and refill them easily (but since it is bigger, not all the time!)

Funny how a small thing, when it works well, makes life so much easier!

I purchased this to replace an identical one we owned. The new one was purchased because the first one fell into the sink and the plastic container cracked. Bought the same one again because I could not find a different one with the long spout and non skid base - without looking at overpriced dispensers.

The pump is extremely stable and its surface grips wet hands well. It isn't the nicest looking pump, hense only 4 stars.

Unbreakable; see through so you know the soap level; non-skid bottom so it stays in place; and the long spout is great. Best one I have ever had.

This looks great on the sink and is working perfect, no drips. One thing you might not like is that you can't work it with one hand. It takes both hands to get soap onto your hands because of the long spout, but for me, that's OK, just took a little getting used to.
