5.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't want to be without them!
I've had this set of cutters for over a year and have used them more times than I can count. I use the largest size to make hamburger buns, the smaller sizes to make bite size cookies. There's sizes perfect for sandwich cookies, sugar cookies and biscuits. You have a choice of scalloped edge or flip it over and use a straight edge. They've easily cut every type dough I've...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good concept but....
The idea of a cutter that can have dual uses is an awesome idea. However, it falls a little short. We wanted to use the straight side to cut hamburger buns. The jagged side cuts into your palms until they are pretty sore if you do very many. Cutter works good and is fairly solid. Like the variety of sizes. It will be ok to cut such things as soft cookie doughs. If...

They've easily cut every type dough I've used them on and they come packaged in a clear round container than keeps them all together instead of being scattered in different drawers and cabinets. I have two large boxes of cookie cutters but this is the set I always reach for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great cutters, July 14, 2007
This review is from: Progressive International Biscuit and Cookie Cutter Set (Kitchen)
I was looking for biscuit cutters on Amazon and there were so many to choose from. I decided on this set and am so glad I did. There are a bunch of sizes and the store nicely inside each other. You can make biscuits or cookies with smooth edges or wavy edges. A good find.

Just wanted to add the sides you get: smallest is 38 mm, then they increase in 10 mm increments all the way to 98 mm. (divide by 25.4 to convert to inches).

4.0 out of 5 stars scalloped and plain round shapes, December 20, 2006
This review is from: Progressive International Biscuit and Cookie Cutter Set (Kitchen)
I only realized when I took these out of the box that the "handle" end could be used to make circles. These are a thin sharp plastic. They are the best price for what they can do of all the cookie cutter sets. I finally decided on these after reading Chocolate and Zucchini's tool reviews. Now my shortbread cookies will no longer be Salvador Dali-esque. Cookies are very unhealthy so I am happy to get this smaller set for ten dollars instead of the larger Ateco metal sets for Round and Crinkle shapes that would have cost $30.

I also found the 3 7/8 inch fits perfectly into a one pound coffee can that I used for making Perogi, it makes it more comfortable than the ruffled edge. Very well made, and the size is printed on each cutter.

They are not the best quality but get the job done.
Good value for money. So, you'd surely not regret buying these.

I am very happy with this purchase. All the different sizes and the two different sides. I really feel like I got a deal. They work well. Easier than the jar I was using for my biscuits.

5.0 out of 5 stars These Are Great!, December 14, 2008
This review is from: Progressive International Biscuit and Cookie Cutter Set (Kitchen)
This biscuit and cookie cutter set is great. It is also cheaper to buy this set than the 2 metal sets available to do the same job. Very easy to clean, and not affected by the water of West Texas that damages anything made of metal!

You get a lot for your money here and they work just fine; just keep in mind that if you can cut with both sides then both sides are pretty sharp. In hindsight, I don't need this many cutters so I would have preferred a blunted side to use as a handle instead of double-sided. Also, if you don't need a million more pieces in your kitchen, this might not be the set for you. On the other hand, they store easily and clean up easily as well.
