Progressive International Collapsible Dish Rack

I actually bought this to use in our RV but tried it out in our kitchen first. The high sides and the snap on bottom keep water from dripping on the counter. I finally used it to go camping and it worked great. I was able to use the adjacent stove as additional work space and when I was done it snapped together for easy storage(a must in a RV). After we returned home, I brought it back into the kitchen and I am using it there on a permanent basis (until the next camping trip, that is)!

This is everything I was looking for in a dish rack. It collapses down so it will fit in the sink or dishwasher to keep clean. It also has no metal to rust out. It holds a lot too, even though it doesn,t seem that big. I recommend it highly.

I don't have a small kitchen, but I don't have a dish washer, and I don't have much room around the sink for the other dish racks. This one fits just perfectly.

I don't collapse it, it stays up all the time. And it's been really sturdy.

If you're curious like I was, the dimensions given are for the top part after it's expanded. But the thing is coned shaped. The base is what I wanted to know, because that's where the tight space is.
The base is 11" wide x 15" long with a 1" lip for the drip.

I'd give this 5 stars except it sucks for glasses. It really sucks for holding glasses. The thing is made to hold 15 plates at a time in a small apartment. What?! Look at the product image, it's holding 4 plates and a tea cup that's sideways? Who does that? Not me. I have tall glasses that awkwardly fit in this thing.

Note to the designers of this thing... Do one half of the unit as it is, but the other half, give me some prongs sticking up to hold the glasses instead of those long ribs used to hold plates.

I think I might get adventurous today, pull out the Dremel and do some surgery to make this a useable product.

Overall, I've had it for a month or so now, and I'm happy with it. And I was torn between 3 and 4 stars. But because it can't hold glasses, I'm a bit disappointed.

I love this rack. It drains well, is easy to open and close, and is great for storing under the counter. I would have given it 5 stars if it were easier to drain glasses. The only way you can drain a glass is to lean it up against the edge for the disk rack. I have no problems with the silverware section, and find it works very well.

This was the perfect dish drainer for our kitchen! We have very little counter space, so I was looking for one of those wooden or metal foldup drainers, but am so glad I decided to try this one. It has a very large base, so measure to make sure you have enough room. The base reverses, so it can either hold all the water or drain it into the sink. Because of the deep sides, it can hold a lot of dishes.

Two minor negatives: The first few times you try and collapse and un-collapse the drainer it feels near impossible. The plastic loosens up a bit with use, so this was resolved after a few uses. The second negative is that some of my glasses have trouble standing up because of the shape of the base. I have resolved this by leaning the glasses against the side. My larger glasses fit fine, it is the smaller diameter ones that have trouble.

Over all, I am so glad we purchased this item!

We love this dish rack!! Works well, easy to clean and saves space when in use and when you need to store it, it collapses to a nice flat size. We use it all the time in our home (no automatic dish washer). Best dish rack we have had!!!

I absolutely love this dish drainer. It is very well designed. It really does collapse for easy storage. When not collapsed it was the largest dish drainer I could find to buy. This was a major plus for me because I hate not having room for my pots and pans to dry. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does LOOK sort of cheap because it is plastic. However it is nice thick plastic. I do understand that it is made this way so that it can collapse so easily. I will take the trade off. I love this drainer, just wish it looked a little nicer on my counter. I would definitely recommend this item.

What a difference this collapsible wonder has made in our small kitchen! I really appreciate being able to fold the rack down when it is not needed and to slide it between the stove and wall when it is not in use, thereby giving me more counter space Note that though this is collapsible, it is extremely strong and well constructed - i don't expect it to fall apart or break anytime soon.

This was such a great purchase.Since my kitchen space is small it has always been difficult to navigate.Now I could make space when necessary.Once the rack is not in use it could be made flat and stored in any small space.It makes my kitchen look less cluttered.The rack appears sturdy.The only trouble was trying to elevate the rack at first,afterwards it was a piece of cake.

Love the collapsible part of this item. Not sure of the long term effects of collapsing this dish rack. Right now it looks and feels sturdy. It's a large dish rack and seems adequate in size. Since I'm remodeling my kitchen with new granite counters, I was looking to maintain a clean look by removing the dish rack after use. It collapses to 2 1/2" therefore easy to store in a cabinet. The drain board can be used 2 ways, either draining the water into the sink or reversing it and draining the water within the drain board, thereafter the water would have to be removed manually. I believe it may be dishwasher safe therefore cleaning this item would seem easy. No need to worry about rust anymore with your standard dish rack.
