The expandable part of the bowl is constructed of durable food-grade silicone that both holds its shape as a bowl as well as offers easy flexibility when collapsing down for storage. The rim and bottom of the bowl is made from rigid plastic. They're microwave, freezer and dishwasher safe.

I live in a home with 6 people, and a small kitchen with little cabinets. This product is a great space saver. When you spend more time looking for bowl and lid you know it's time for a change. The bowls can go in the microwave, and dishwasher. Fantastic product, I'm buying more today. The bowls appear flimsy but really are not. The only con i have is the lid does not "snap" on and can come off. I don't recommend throwing it in a lunch bag for work or school but, for daily home use the product is perfect.

These collapse very well and take very little space. Bowls are nice sizes for standard use. Look nice too!

This a great product the bowl plus lid store as one and only takes up 2-3" depending on size. They make great hostess gifts.
