I bought these mini colanders to easily wash small quantities of berries for my toddler (and also for her to play with). I love the colors and that they are dishwasher safe; HOWEVER, if you put them in the dishwasher, they will develop some rusting between the base and the bowl. And some discoloration will occur to the paint.

This is a nice collection of three small colanders. The larger two have proven quite useful for washing things like berries, draining cans of beans, and the like. The smallest one has pretty much no use except looking cute. Draining capers maybe?

They are super tiny, but I love them. I think I may add the green one (smallest) to my baby daughter's kitchen set. I drained a small can of sliced olives in the blue one (medium) and it worked fine. I plan on using the red one for holding cherry tomatoes.
