Progressive International Over-the-Sink Cutting Board

The board fit very well over the counter. The problem I have with it is the surface is very slippery. When you starting slicing or dicing your food, the food starts slipping around. Also the handles do not have any stoppers in them, so they fall out. I had my old cutting board (another brand) hanging off the inside of the cabinet door below the sink. I am unable to do this with the Progressive because the handles come out.

I bought this cutting board a few years ago. It finally time to replace it. Mine was just worn out. I love this so much. I have now spent about 3 years looking for another one. I looked in every store I was in. I have my friends looking for it but could not find it. When I saw it on this site I could not beleive my eyes... I put in an order for 2 of them. One to use one to save. I hope the next time I need one it will be easy to find. But for now I'm a happy camper.

This item is not as fancy as others available, but it is sturdy enough, and it provides the extra surface area over the unused side of my sink that I bought it for. It wipes clean easily.

I bought this for my mom because her counter space is limited and she would always just put cutting boards on top of the sink when cutting veggies. It seemed so dangerous so I got this cutting board. Since then she's complained a lot about the adjustable handles of this cutting board detaching/slipping out during use. That was actually more dangerous. I was real disappointed with this product and wish there was some gripping detail on the handles that sit on the sink edges. I may have to just make one for my mom.

Well, this was a waste of money. As others have said, the extenders are flimsy and slip when you're trying to cut on the board. They also slip out all the time, so in the middle of cutting, the whole thing falls apart and into the sink. Dangerous and frustrating. Water gets into the little holes where the extenders attach and it gets all moldy inside. Very tough to clean; I have to wrap cotton around a long skewer and swish it around in there to get the gunk out.

I have an older version of this board that is wonderful. It comes with a metal mini-colander that fits into an opening in the board, which is very useful. The extenders are made of metal with rubber grips, so there's no slipping. Also, one of the extenders has stoppers, so it doesn't slide out and you can hang the board from it, plus the slot for the extenders is open towards the back, making it easy to keep clean and gunk-free. The problem is, I can't find that board anymore! I believe it was made by this same company. I have a hard time believing that they would discontinue such a great, useful product and replace it with this piece of junk.

Very disappointing.

If anyone knows where I can get the board I described above, please let me know.

The supports for the cutting board are completely useless.
They are flimsy and slip all the way out very easily.
They barely support the board itself much less than anything being on the board or any pressure from cutting. Pathetic!

Found this item after the board I had for many years broke. They are very hard to find in local stores. Ordered this one after buying a wooden one locally, that split in half after one day of use. Although it took a few weeks to arrive, and having to email the company a couple of times, it finally did arrive and I'm very pleased with it. ProMax supply was very helpful in seeing that I got it.

A good board for the price. Hard to find over the sink boards in my area for some unknown reason. Use it daily and am glad to have it. Size is right and unit is stable.

I had been looking to replace my over the sink cutting board and had been unable to find one in any store locally. I love this cutting board. Since it goes over the sink, it essentially expands my limited counter space. I also can push the inedible things (e.g. fat of meat, seed of colored peppers) off of the cutting board into the garbage disposal in the sink, saving me a step.
