Pros:
Folds flat for easy storage
Top rack dishwasher safe
Easy to clean
Long handle allows straining for hot foods without concern of burning your hands

Cons:
There are only holes in the very bottom, so it takes longer to strain than a regular strainer
It's not as compact as I'd originally thought

Overall this is a pretty good product. Just make note that the picture shows there are only holes in the very bottom, which isn't a huge deal, it's still very functional, but it does take longer than a regular colander to strain and rinse food inside of it because of that. It folds flat nicely, but the long handle is both helpful and hindering-it's good because you don't burn yourself when you strain hot foods, but because the handle doesn't fold in, it will not fit into a drawer. It still slides neatly into a small cabinet (the skinny kind where you keep cookie sheets) and doesn't take up that much room.

It's nice to handle and I love how it collapses for storage and cleaning. Save me a ton of space in a small kitchen.

Bought this to rinse black beans before cooking, works well. It's good quality plastic like Good TupperWare. The option of collapsing saves space in drawer. Price is right.

We have downsized to an apartment so I have been trying to get rid of things we don't use and make better use of space. I happen to see some collapsible stuff at a store quite a while back. I didn't need it then, however. Now that I do-I have quite a few of them on my wish list. This pops out easily, works great, and is replacing my Tupperware one of ten years. I LOVE the fact that it is almost flat and can be stored in many different ways. HIGHLY recommend to those living in small spaces, and I look forward to purchasing more as we have no plans to ever have a large place. We like small and want to live small and simple. These collapsible items REALLy help w/that!!

I bought 3 of these in 3 different colors - one for each of our Girl Scout Troop Patrol Boxes. The collapsing feature is excellent - takes up less space in the kitchen equipment box and packs easier than a rigid bowl shape. The girls have no trouble popping out and collapsing the strainer, and the size is perfect for straining pasta for 4 or washing a pint of strawberries.
