Although these are called "appetizer" tongs, they are perfect for serving dinner.

Don't be misled by the photo of the tongs holding a cherry tomato -- they're compact, yet sturdy and large enough to pick up asparagus spears, slices of meat, etc. The large cooking tongs I used previously worked fine for serving, but they weren't especially attractive on the dining table.

A pair of these stainless steel, dishwasher-safe tongs at the price I paid on Amazon.com was an amazing bargain.

The Progressive "Appetizer" Tongs are not only FUNCTIONAL, but the "X" and "O" design is FUN!

These don't open very wide so you won't be able pick up anything too big, but they work great for veggies, crackers and other small things. They are nicely constructed and don't take up too much storage space. I like them and would definitely buy them again.

These little tongs and the veggie tongs are fantastic & just what I wanted! We've had them just a week, but have used them nearly every day since. And, at 2 pairs for under $7, they're a bargain. Progressive International Stainless Steel Appetizer Tongs

These tongs were perfect for my purposes! I bought 2 sets for a housewarming party and did the job. We used them for a sushi platter, deviled egg platter, bacon-covered asparagus and for stuffed mushrooms. I love their style - brushed stainless steel and they're sleek without looking too elegant or fancy. My husband (who does all the dishes) loves that they can just thrown into the dishwasher. I would absolutely recommend them.

We love these little servers. They are brushed stainless steel, are very low key, easy to wash (dishwasher) and don't take up any room in the accessory drawer. We buy extras for hostess gifts to go along with our homemade pickled asparagus & dilly beans. They are inexpensive but (and this is a very large but.......) they are extremely thoughtful as a gift,

Strong enough that you need to put some force into it to pick something up.
Smaller than I'd expected. Sometimes too small to be of actual use, and I end up
just going back to the huge tongs I bought from Target or something.
But looks pretty though.

I wanted tongs that were 8 inches long for use with my toaster oven. These tongs are both 6 inches long. This is not a subjective matter and it is hard to understand why Amazon lets this type of false advertising persist. The product comment says:

This pair of 8-inch long stainless steel appetizer tongs are perfect for many occasions.

Otherwise these are well made and of nice weight. This misrepresentation should be trivial to fix.

These tongs are used by a toddler who serves himself. They are the perfect size for little hands to manipulate with ease. They are sturdy and durable. They are a great way to allow little ones the ability to develop the practical life skills needed to serve themselves!

I bought these to use as sugar cube tongs as I had searched "sugar cube tongs" on Amazon. I realized they were appetizer tongs but thought maybe they're smaller than your average appetizer tongs. They aren't! They are great for appetizers though! We use them on the mini-buffet we use to make burritos. I have purchased two sets and we use them for shredded lettuce, cheese, chopped tomatos and so on. You have to be careful not to put the circle on the salsa or your guests will have a very hard time getting any!

I was looking for small tongs such as these, since they're great at picking up a variety of foods. Not much to say- great price, stainless steel, fits in a kitchen drawer nicely. Glad I bought them.
