Definitely makes a difference when starting up my F-150, even in temps as low as -20F. I have it set on a timer to start in the morning a few hours before I head out so it won't run all night. It does what it advertises (heats up oil and surely helps with cold starts), but if you're looking to get warm air from your heater more quickly this probably isn't the best bet. I does help some, but a frost plug replacement or coolant heater would work best for that. However, even running just a few hours before I head out I do notice my temp gauge pops up faster, and even faster still if I let it run all night. Gets hot enough in a few second that you can't even touch it...watch out!!

For the install, it's fairly simple (it took about 30 minutes). It came with everything needed...the pad is adhesive backed (sandpaper included to make sure you create a good bond), silicone to seal around the edges and a few wire-ties to run the cord to the front of the vehicle.

This is a great product, it does what it says it does, It heats my duramax up when its -35 F and it fires right up with great oil pressure. Before with just the tank heater I had no oil pressure for up to a minute, this was no good. I installed this very easily, 15 minutes. It heats the whole engine from the bottom up. The frost plug heaters only heat from the waterline up. This is a must for cold weather operation. Five STARS!

I have a TC-30 diesel tractor that I use for all kinds of tasks at home and a small landscaping business. When it gets really cold (in Virginia this means 20 degrees or less) the three point hydraulics poop out. I have a snow and leveling blade that runs off the three point, but what good is a snow plow that doesn't work when it gets cold? Not much!! Enter the Proheat Fluid Reservoir Heater. I glued this little gem to the area under the transaxle, as per included instructions and , voila! I just need to plug it in overnight or a few hours before I want to use the plow (depending on how cold it is) and the hydraulics work like a charm. Excellent investment.

Definitely a quality product. It was quite easy to install, the instructions are clear and you get everything you need in the box. The only complaint I have is that the tube of sealant was too small for my application. I ended up purchasing another tube from Amazon to ensure the seal was complete.

It makes a difference when starting my truck up in cold temps. Doesn't seem to effect my electric bill much which is good. Would recommend to anyone in colder climates that don't want to spend the money on a whole block heater and the massive amount of power it ends up using.

Arrived on time and in good shape. Not as good as a block heater, but much cheaper and easier to install. If you live in a place where it only gets below zero a few times, then this product works. If you live in Fairbanks or something then I would reccomend a block heater or fluid heater.

This unit was put on our 100 ton Lima crane to keep the oil warm in the Winter months. It works well keeping the oil warm for early morning starts. I would use this product again on another crane we have in the company. I would recommend this product.
