I took an online introductory course for Project 2007 ($100)and did well, but did not realize just how much more there was to this program. I began looking for more online courses to consider, when I decided to look into training videos and I found this one. Although all the reviews had a very high rating of this product the one that convinced me the most I think, was someone stated that they were very skeptical because of the price of the video, and after the additional comments they made I decided to purchase the product. What a deal!! Although I am a novice to project management and to this program I have no doubt now that I can achieve so much more after using this training video. I will say, that there is a lot of data and information in this video to retain, but it is very thorough and easy to understand, and it is also broken down so well that you do not have to watch for 20 minutes to get whatever information you need to brush up on or refresh your memory. I have since bought a couple of more of Kirt's videos to improve my knowledge in some other programs. Great job Kirt!!!! I want to thank you all for the excellent reviews that lead me to believe in and purchase this product. I would recommend this to anyone whether they are just starting to learn about the program or if they just need to brush up on Project 2007.

After using Microsoft Project and trying to figure it out piece by piece, this saved me so much time and allowed me start the organization of the project right from the start. Preparation and organization when you begin will pay off at the end. Better to understand the things he explains in this tutorial than to go back and have to try fix things, if you can. And as he explains, sometimes you can not go back to fix somethings. This tutorial will also provide you with some refresher aspects on PM that are very important to keep track of with MS Project.

Buy this product, I do not think you will regret the $39 you spend.

I needed to quickly gain more than just a superficial understanding of Microsoft Project for a new project at work. After reading the reviews, I purchased the Video Trainer, and I am very glad that I did. The presentation is professional, easy to understand, and well-paced. The fact that the presentation is broken down in to brief segments means I can easily go back a review a specific topic without having to wade through or fast forward through a lot of content. I find the DVD to be comparable in price and more flexible than print guides. And at my new job, I have more than enough technical print documents to read and I have always had an auditory/visual learning style. The video format provides a welcome change from print and is highly effective for me.

I have been trying to learn to use Project for years, but because I didn't use the program regularly, I would struggle when I would try to use it. This product was perfect for me. It provided the foundation I needed to successfully use the program, and provided the perfect resource to refer to, when it had been a few months since I had last used Project. It has saved me hours of frustration and was well worth the investment.

I use MS Project daily on the job and when I'm looking for a shortcut clue, quick brush up on what I already know and do, or to learn another aspect of MS Project, I refer to these dvds...and often! These DVDs are outstanding, I highly recommend them! The information is presented in a clear, concise, streamlined way that's easy to understand. I am so happy that Kurt created these DVDs for others to refer to, what a huge help it is to know that when you get stuck with something in Project, you can have a "tutor" right at your fingertips! Do not hesitate to buy - these are well worth the money!

The training program is excellent and one of the most important items is the number of chapters...the titles allow the user to easily go back and check on "how" by the title ...each chapter is short and this allows the user to check back quickly...it is great...

This training video is very professional. I was apprehensive about purchasing a training video that was relatively inexpensive, but I'm glad that I did make the purchase. It is very easy to follow and makes learning fun. A beginner with little computer experience will find the program easy and fun to learn. Intermediate and advanced users will also find great tips for improving their skills. All in all, this is a very professional training video made by a great company. It is highly recommended.
