These reviews have been showing up on multiple items. This is for Night Lights.

Spawned from the X-Files series, these Topps comics are nice little stories that are, in some places, two parters. Three stories are collected here, and two are "monster files" and one is an "alien file." The first file is about scientists that go missing and a research project that has mysterious ties to their research. This is a two-parter and is a nice little tale. The second is about a camera and a man with an extensive past and an odd colleciton of things. This is also a two-parter and is nice to read. The third is about a UFo file of sorts, with people missing after WW2. At first it seemed like a foo-figher story BUT then it read like a part of an X-file plot with ties to Mulder. This one is done by Anderson, who wrote two of the X-file books as well.

I have to say beforehand that I am a fan of the show and I like the books as well. I also like having some connection to the X-Files now that things have become distant, and these mean a lot more than they once did. In the past, these things would have been rated at a 4 or so, because the show was still on and the market had a lot of stuff from the X-files in it. now, however, the story has changed and things are a lot different.

With this said, I know a little research into the topps sets will show you what these look like. Newer releases also showcase these, and they show pages that are newer. They were relased in colelctions in 2010-2011, and those are not these comics expactly but the art style is a lot alike.

A 5/5 hits here, with nostaligc reasons mingling with a want for a return. I miss the show and the stuff and i miss that sort of notion. Granted, there are some showing trying to this angle but none are like this. It went with the whole MJ-12, aliens of the 1940s-1960s and continued its motion. I'm not sure anything else works like this when you tie in the UFO accusations make by MUFON, NICAP, and Keyhoe during all of this.

5.0 out of 5 stars awsome fun little pocket book, June 6, 2007
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i ordered this book thinking i was getting a full size book. when it came i realized that it was a small almost pocket size book. despite its small size the book does not disapoint. it was a great quick read with 3 x-files stories in it. bottom line. totally worth the 8$ total that i paid for it. i might be hesitant to buy it for more than 10$ + shipping as it is a small quick book.
