Project Arms is the single best anime I've ever seen. First, let's look at it from a die-hard anime fanatic(my perspective, mind you). The terrific blend of fierce action with personal terror makes me drool(stylish yet intelligent use of manga mixed with fast-paced anime contributes to the puddle I've built up. Here we see character drama in action. Hayato may seem like your cliche "Everyone I ever loved is dead because of(villain)" I thought this at first too. Then, something inside me said quite plainly "This is different." Hayato isn't another Link or something. Hayato has actually reacted to the incident of his 'fathers' death. Ryo, too, is not another Goku. He is just a kid who might have the most power of all the ARMS. Takeshi is not another... another... come to think of it, I can't really compare Takeshi to anybody. Also, I hope the next DVD comes out soon. ...
