Book Description

From the authors of the best selling Night Marchers Series, comes an all new apocalyptic series with a paranormal twist that is enjoyable for all ages.

Millions have already died, and thousands more are perishing daily.
As a last ditch effort to preserve the human race, the government implements Project ELE. With the earth heating at rapid speeds, all remaining survivors are forced to turn to F.E.M.A. shelters to wait out ELE's wrath.

Fifteen-year-old Willow Mosby's life, as she knows it, ends the moment she walks through the shelter's door. Willow has to quickly adapt to the new challenges that shelter life demands, the least of which includes making new friends, working a full time job and experiencing her first relationship.

Soon after making an interesting discovery, Willow and her friends start exhibiting strange abilities. Seeking answers, they embark on a mission to find out what these new abilities mean and whether they are a gift or a curse. This new adventure can send her world crashing down around her. The question is: Can Willow survive the fall?

Editorial Reviews

Review

"Project ELE is an intensely unique and enjoyable read. It captures the imagination and invites the reader to explore a post-apocalyptic setting with a multitude of secrets, discoveries and a good dose of betrayal. Think scientific experiments, mostly likeable but also some creepy characters, paranormal abilities, hidden passageways and caverns deep inside a mountain; and then throw into the mix a fat helping of action, suspense, and romance, and you're onto a winner. A must-read for paranormal romance fans of all ages!" ~Books4Tomorrow

"For those of you who loved The Hunger Games, Delirium, Matched, Gone series. Then you should check this out." ~Books Are Diamonds

"Loved this book! It kept me interested from beginning to end with all the suspense. Very well written and the characters are amazing. The ending left me with an OMG feeling." ~Mystical World of Book Reviews

From the Author

Diving into the world around ELE has been a truly exciting experience for us as authors. It isn't often that you get to create futuristic worlds or test the waters by writing interesting super hero abilities. Never the less, abilities that are thrust into the hands of unsuspecting teenagers. As if coming of age isn't enough for them to deal with already, throw in new freaky powers, and you got yourself a nice hot mess that makes for an interesting read.

The idea for Project ELE was a long time coming for us. When we were writing Night Marchers (our first journey into writer-hood) we kept playing with the idea for Project ELE. So when we finished Redemption, the last book (possibly not the final book) in the Night Marchers series, we knew that we had to give ELE the attention it deserved.

This by far has been our favorite series to write. The story has practically told itself and little time passes us by when we aren't thinking about Willow Mosby and all that Project ELE has thrown at her. We published Project ELE in August of 2012 and since then, have gone on to release Finding ELE and Exposing ELE in less than six months. To top that off, we released the fourth book in the series: Surviving ELE in February 2013.  None of our previous books were written so quickly and this is all due to the fact that there is so much of a story to be told in The ELE Series. So many conspiracies, heart breaks, love, crazy super human abilities, villains you love to hate and more that still needs to be written for our awesome fans.

We want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read our books and experience the magical worlds that surrounds them, with us. To have our imaginations brought to life on paper is truly a dream come true. Thank you!

In addition, we would like to thank everyone who has given us feedback on our books. As Indie authors our books don't get the opportunity to pass by as many sets of eyes as we would hope. While we did hire an editor, it was apparent that some mistakes were overlooked in the editing. We listened to the positive criticism about our books and have since corrected many of the mistakes and have uploaded a new version on January 1, 2013. Project ELE is still currently free so if you would like to upload and updated version, please do so.

Thank you again for your feedback and support! We appreciate you more than you could ever know.

Rebecca Gober and Courtney Nuckels

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Story Appropriate for All Ages November 12, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is a neat, fast-read sci-fi tale that is not only good for adults but is primarily aimed at the young adult / older children market. Without having a spoiler, rather than aliens you have an apocalyptic-type scenario with a disease, sequestration while a radical attempt to eradicate the disease takes place, followed up by a group of kids who get into mischief with far-reaching implications. The authors do a good job of getting you quickly into the story and feeling the emotions of the characters.

Parents can recommend this for their kids' Kindles as well as their own - no profanity, sex, or drugs, just a good story and tale. It's unusual to find a book you can enjoy with your kids and both be entertained.

I picked this up for free during a Kindle promotion vs. the normal pricing of the Kindle version of 99 cents: free or 99 cents, you are certain to get a lot of value (more than 99 cents out of this one). I enjoyed this one, and picked up Part II of the series, as well as sent it to my junior-high daughter's Kindle.

2.0 out of 5 stars poor grammar November 11, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
The story is imaginative and interesting, but the grammatical mistakes are driving me crazy. "I could care less" means you care a lot. There is a difference between the words "isle" and "aisle". You might also want to check the difference between "manor" and "manner". It's impossible to enjoy the story with all of these mistakes slapping me in the face.

I received this book from the author to give an honest review.

WOW! Where do I start? First let me say I have never been disappointed with the books I have read from these authors. Every book they write makes me want to read more from them.

That being said do you guys have book 2 available already? Because I am very anxious to read what is going to happen next, the ending made me want more. I was kind of sad that the book ended so quickly, I guess I should have slowed down my reading. :)

Project ELE will keep you turning page after page just to see what will happen next. In Project ELE you will encounter characters that you will fall in love with. There is Willow who is in a shelter with her father and had to leave behind her mother and brother. While there she meets other teenagers around her age and befriends them. Claire who is very shy but starts opening up when Willow starts to talk to her. Then there is Connor who Willow had met outside of the shelter, but gets to know him better in the shelter. Then there is Alec who starts off as Willow's boss but then it turns into something else. As Willow, Claire, Connor, and Alec adjust to their new lives in the shelter they discover there is more going on than meets the eye.

I do have to say I absolutely LOVED the way the authors made Willow's brother I just fell in love with the little guy, and even though he is a character in a book. I wanted to give him hugs and kisses because he was written to be so darn cute. I wanted to cry when the unthinkable happened.

If you enjoy anything to do with the paranormal and people that have powers then I highly suggest you give this book a try it is a perfect read for YA and adults.
