Book Description

September 1, 1996
Now, there's no place left to hide. In this stunning expos, noted author Texe Marrs unravels the secrets of Project L.U.C.I.D., the chilling program destined to devour the whole world. Soon, every person on earth--even newborn babies-will be issued the universal biometrics I.D. card. Resisters will have a mind control biochip surgically implanted in their brains. The ISO 9000 program requires that all manufactured goods be marked with the number of the beast, 666.

Project L.U.C.I.D. empowers America's hidden SS establishment to use its massively powerful, computer databases to control bank accounts and purchases, and to monitor intimate details of peoples' lives. Spy satellites; hidden, miniature video cameras; and interactive TV sets will be watching our every move. Our telephone calls will be wiretapped and recorded by remote computers. All data will be linked, networked, and processed by a Central Gestapo, where faceless bureaucrats give orders to police, military, and intelligence agencies. This is the new, global police state, made up of the FBI, KGB, CIA, DEA, DIA, NSA, IRS, EPA, OSHA, NCIC, USDA, FDA, NRO, BATF, FINCEN, INS, DOJ, WTO, Europol, Interpol, Mossad, and the MAB.

4.0 out of 5 stars Echelon exists! April 8, 2000
By "yoco"
Format:Paperback
When I first read this book about two years ago I had a tough time beliving some of it but found the book interesting and informative none the less.

However, Much of what Texx Marrs has written in "Project Lucid" has since been acknowleged by the goverment and or has come to pass (Y2k excepted)

Most noteably Project ECHELON a vast spying and listening computer network that scans every phone call, E-mail, fax and other electronic transmissions in the entire world for key words.

When I first read this book I figured this was at best a strecth if not fiction, Loe and behold 2 and a half years later not only do the goverments of The US and UK confirm it's existence but the Eourpeans are taking it seriously enough to investigate whether it was used for Boeing and other US companies to steal contracts from Eourpean Companies.

Texx Marrs may sound like a nut on occaisoin but he was way ahead of the curve on this one, and you have to give him credit for that.

5.0 out of 5 stars Project L.U.C.I.D. is an intelligent book. March 8, 1999
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
In my opinion, Texe Marrs did a great job compiling this book. I've read all the comments these readers have submitted, and I disagree. I've been studying L.U.C.I.D., the Y2K problem, and the end times, and have even contacted Dr. Halaris and other noted officials, and everything from Project L.U.C.I.D. appears to be true, although they don't want to come right out and say it. There's one Christian on the staff, whose name I cannot reveal; and she has realized that the project is evil in brewing. She's studying everything that goes on inside, and is giving me information not available to the average Joe.

On the "stealing information" issue on Texe Marrs: I believe that he really didn't do anything wrong, morally. If he violated any copyright laws, I don't know, but there's nothing wrong with compliling information from several sources, as long as it's done legally. I mean, how is he supposed to show that he hasn't altered any of the information without just including the information itself. Also, the Bible says that you non-Christians would doubt the Truth when it comes. I hope you guys change your minds about L.U.C.I.D.

Also, I'm COMPILING a new multimedia CD Rom called Y2K: Biblical Prophecies on The End Times, it will be FREE at many Christian Bookstores. It pushes what I believe to be the truth, and in NO way an excuse to make easy cash for my organization, for as I said earlier, is FREE. I'm also making an accompanying web site called igNIGHT, devoted to underground information on The End Times, and other Christian topics. And yes, I am a Christian, and love God more than anything else, and it hurts me when I see people who don't see that the New Age Movement is destroying the world, and that The End Times are near. I don't mean to say that the actual End Times are going to be around the corner, but I believe that the Year 2000 will definitely be a turning point, and have a lot to do with the escalation to The End Times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Read It April 15, 2002
By A Customer
Format:Paperback
His critics dismiss Texe Marrs with the label "Fundamentalist Christian." So be it. But at least he takes a stand. At least he reads the Bible of his faith. At least he applies it to the world around him.

I like Marrs' books. They have the excitement of conspiracy theory. But grounded in Bible study. If you don't believe in the Bible (or are afraid your friends will think you're a nut if you do) you probably won't like his books. But if you're into Bible prophecy, and use the Christian Bible to guide your life, then I think you'll appreciate Marrs' perspective.

I'll admit, I try not to put any Christian writer on a pedestal. God is still the definitive Author. But there's a place for writers who use the Bible to comment on current events. I appreciate the work they do. Especially when it prompts me to go back and read Bible passages they've pointed out.

So, Mr. Marrs: I thank you for taking so much flak, yet still keeping the faith. And I eagerly await your next book.
