Last year, I bought both kits. Turquoise and Amber - Dec. 2010. I used one to stay current with this year (2011) and one to work backward through last year. I can't believe how much closer to completion my family albums are. Recently, my 6 year old was able to sit down and review the family album from THIS year! Honestly, it's the first time it has happened in his life. Project Life has improved my life. I have told every busy woman I know about it and encouraged them to try it. I plan to buy both of the next kits that come out and I'm here today to buy this one for a friend who needs some extra love this week.
One of my favorite things about this company - they actually listen to what the customers want. This new, less expensive, core kit is a direct result of customer requests and ideas. Try it. At least once.

I LOVE the turquoise edition so much better than the first one I bought. It was a red binder and was so ugly, but at that time the choices were limited. Anyway, the patterns in this kit are much more appealing. The only issue I have is with the packaging. Several of the cards were bent and raggedy when I opened the box. Not such a huge issue for me personally, but I'm sure it'll be highly aggravating to some people, especially when you consider the price paid for it. Now if only the new turquoise binder would become available so I could start assembling my book!

The colors and patterns of this kit are really fun, however many of the journaling cards are SO FULL of wording and designs that I don't have enough room to do enough of my own journaling.
