Book Description

Book Three in the Cascade Brides series.

The Three Sisters Mountains are part of the Cascade Mountain Range near the town of Sisters, Oregon. The peaks were named Faith, Hope, and Charity by early settlers. In Oregon Cascade Brides, three estranged siblings named for the mountains, each in the far-flung reaches of the state, are drawn back to their childhood home by men who ultimately make the sisters realize what they have in each other. Christian romance.

(See Book One: Rock and a Hard Place, and Book Two: Bayward Heart)

In Project Love (Book Three) barista Charity Conrad enjoys her adoring customers and the caffeine that keeps her personality perking. Next to her job, she stays involved in good causes and can rarely say no to community involvement. So when coffee shop patron Daniel Tabor begins coming in to her shop, she makes it her personal goal to get the handsome but taciturn man to smile. But Daniel resists becoming just another 'project' and instead challenges Charity to take a risk not only with him--but with her sisters.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful! November 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Such a wonderful writer! All three of the Cascade Bride books are excellent! Each stands alone, yet you'll want to read all three of them. Faith, Hope and Charity have their own adventures, yet are connected, but estranged sisters. Thanks Bonnie, for another great book!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Wrap Up! December 9, 2012

I absolutely loved this book! Ms. Blythe finished up this series in a marvelous way! I loved how Daniel didn't give her a smile because he knew deep down, she wasn't all that happy. That takes insight and discernment. He seemed like the perfect guy, with his faults with his brother and everything! I really could relate to how the sisters felt with each other, how they responded to one another when meeting. Their meeting was real in today's world. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, all three actually, and I highly recommend them!

5.0 out of 5 stars wonderful conclusion to a great series December 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I love all the books by Bonnie Blythe that I've read. The Cascade Bridges series is definitely my favorite. Bonnie Blythe does a wonderful job writing about Charity's insecurities and worries of living up to other people's expectations. I couldn't wait to read the meeting of these three estranged sisters which finally came about in this third book. All three of this series are a good read. Blythe is an excellent Christian writer.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good clean reading April 26, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book, the third in the series of "Cascade Brides", was just as amazing as the first two. Each book was about a different sister. The sisters had been estranged since their mother had died years before. While each book was about a different sister and the stories were completely different you were still aware of the other two and wonder if they will reconcile.

In this third book "Project Love", the author does a fantastic job of writing the characters into the story. She is a very gifted author who writes with a Christian influence.

The sisters to me seem to all be a little insecure in relationships. Perhaps because of the relationship they have (or do not have with their sisters). They all are reluctant to become involved in and trust a relationship.

In this, the final in the series, I found myself hoping that somehow the sisters would reunite. A lot happens in this book. You just have to read it. I recommend it to anyone who likes a good clean book.

5.0 out of 5 stars HAPPY ENDINGS June 29, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This series was wonderful. I understand the dynamics of sisters and brothers. These books were written in a manner leading to a feeling of SUSPENSE and ending in happiness and understanding. The descriptions of the various places each sister lived made me feel like I was actually present with each of them. Great story and ending.

4.0 out of 5 stars Like it, with one major caveat March 28, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I like Bonnie Blythe as a general rule. Especially when her books are free. :) This book is fun - I just reread it this week. That alone should tell you that it's decent to me. I did tire just a bit again (as I did the first time) of Charity's insecurity and whining. Daniel is great, yet no so great as to be unbelievable. At times I wondered why someone like him wanted to be with Charity when she was so mired in self-pity. This series portrays what to me seems like normal sibling rivalry, and a group of sisters determined to assume the worst about each others. There are others in the series, but you can read them as stand-alone books. I've only read two of the three and there was a decent amount of the whining/hating sisters for no good reason in both. I have two sisters as well, so maybe that added to my feelings that they just needed to grow up a little and try to find something good about each other for a change. Charity's issues bled over into other relationships as well, leaving her as a pretty pitiful person in the relationship front at the start of the book. I guess it's a good reminder on how unsolved issues can morph into something that impacts your whole life. Thank God she met Daniel. :) The stories are good as far as what's happening on the current front/relationship - it's just the parts related to the siblings that gets a bit tedious for me (although someone with different sibling relationships personally may feel differently, since I know there are definitely people out there who have had nasty relationships with family members.)

This is not my favorite Blythe book, but still good. It IS the book where there is reconciliation at between the sisters are the end, so in a sense, it's the redemptive book of the series on that front.

I guess I sound kind of negative, but I still give it 4 stars. It's well-written and I DID enjoy it. :)
