About the Author
Bill Shackelford, with more than 30 years' experience in education and training, has been a featured presenter at numerous national and international e-learning conferences and workshops. In addition, Bill is an authority on IT project management, presenting at conferences, workshops, and seminars throughout North America and abroad. He served as editor of Best Practices in IT Leadership, and teaches online in Keller Graduate School of Management's Project Management MBA Program. In addition to e-learning, the author is internationally recognized opera critic, serving as editor of the Wagner News for the Wagner Society of America and as Chicago correspondent for Opera magazine (UK). He is president of Shackelford & Associates, an organization that specializes in systems design and training.

This book gets five stars for providing e-learning leaders a first class project management guide. Bill uses his years of IT project management experience to provide readers with solid skills and know-how to better manage risk, deadlines, roles, client satisfaction, and learning. As a project manager of both corporate and academic e-learning, I see the need for a commitment to this discipline on a daily basis..... My favorite chapter is number 10. Good book for tricks and ideas to track projects and prevent and solve conflicts, but I was waiting for some kind of guidelines that can give the project a roadmap that consider all the situations that can apply.
But anyway at the end it is useful although there are are some themes which are not a law and could not be useful for everybody.
