I initially discovered this set on a high end retailers website and was thrilled to see it for nearly 1/3 of their price here on amazon. It's fabulous looking and high quality. It is formaldehyde-free and has a non-toxic finish - two things that are important to me - but probably not everyone. I didn't want chemical outgassing like cheap mdf tables. It's super sturdy. I paired it with the "natural" color chairs to mix it up a little. The "fire" color isn't a bright fire engine red - a little muted with brick color undertones. Super easy to assemble - just like a puzzle - slide pieces together then twist to lock. Assembled in less than 5 minutes.
