This review is from: Projekt Saucer Resurrection (Paperback)
Resurrection is the fifth and final novel in W. A. Harbinson's fascinating Projekt Saucer series.

On December 31, 2000, the world is invaded by flying saucers that disgorge armies of cyborgs and robots. Fast forward to 2020, and the world is a dystopia, where the cyborgs control everything and humans are constantly oppressed. But there is still hope, in the form of two young men.
Randolph "Gumshoe" Fullbright is a computer expert living in cyborg occupied Washington, D.C. When he receives a strange e-mail saying "wilson is back", he sets off on a search that will change his life.
Michael Kimbrell is a psychic livng in the Antarctic base once owned by Wilson, but now owned by the only people in the world who've managed to avoid being conquered by the cyborgs. He is set off away from his Antarctic home, to America, where he intends to infiltrate the White House.

A number of the fans disliked Resurrection as it seemed an unnecessary addition to the series. While I personally agree it was not quite as great as the first four novels, I still found it an enjoyable read.
Resurrection is very different from the first four Projekt Saucer novels. While the series has so far been a mixture of historical fiction and sci-fi, with some horror elements, Resurrection is more of a dystopian sci-fi.
Resurrection also has a really wierd ending. I won't say how it is wierd. Read the novel yourself to find out.

Overall, Resurrection is nonetheless an interesting story. The dystopian world is portrayed quite well, and the characters who survive in it are fairly interesting.
This novel also has an interesting scene where the author W. A. Harbinson himself appears as a character in the story.

I've really enjoyed reading the Projekt Saucer series, and I look forward to reading some of Harbinson's other stories as well.
