Calista Wu's debut CD "The Prologue" is masterful work from a future star. Beautifully written lyrics paired with elegant vocals make this release one of my favorites for 2009.

I've been playing her release on repeat and can't get enough. I wish the CD had more than 5 songs! I can't wait for her future full-length album releases!

If you enjoy talented singer/songwriters like Alicia Keys, Colbie Caillat and Corinne Bailey Rae, then give Calista Wu a quick listen, you will not be disappointed.

I absolutely love this CD and have had it on repeat for awhile now. I love listening to this music to relax after a long day of work, or to have on when hanging out with my friends. Calista has SUCH a soulful voice and the music and lyrics are so beautiful. I love all of the songs, but my favorite is "Black Coffee"- it's so meaningful and melodic.

I highly recommend this CD and can't wait until she releases a 2nd album!! :)

What a great soulful voice! I can't stop listening to this CD whether I am just relaxing at home or driving in the hectic LA traffic, her voice is just so soothing.

Calista Wu's "The Prologue" is such a ridiculously amazing collection of songs that I'm kicking myself for not having heard these earlier and I can't believe that she isn't a breakout star already. From the sweet, passionate vocals to the heart-hitting, emotional lyrics, it's unbelievable how powerful and complete of a cd this is. It's a slice of life on cd that connects with me on so many different levels and at the same time, allows me to just sit back and lose myself in the beauty of the songs and Calista's sweet, soulful voice. The only disappointment is really that there hasn't been a follow-up cd (which all her fans are breathlessly awaiting)!
