These short stories were a quick and fun read! I don't think I will ever get enough vampire lit, but I did enjoy reading something different in the world of paranormal YAL. I could even see some of the characters taking off into their own novel! Who knows--maybe dark angels and portal-stomping teens are the next big thing? I like the different perspectives, voices, and writing styles anthologies offer and this was no exception. I could definitely see some of my high school students reading this and can see how teen readers would easily find at least one character to connect with.

I really liked this anthology. It was the perfect length and was filled with really good stories. My order for most liked to least liked would be 1. Darkness Become Him by Kelly Parra, 2. Tonight, You're Mine by Jenny Peterson, 3. Every Breath You Take By Lena Brown, 4. A Kiss on the Threshold by Aaron Smith, and 5. The Bone Flower by Heather Dearly. Really glad i had the opportunity to read this, because it was a great little break from reading full length novels. Definitely worth a read =D

This anthology was a quick, light read that took a different spin on prom, which I thought was great. Not everyone has a fairytale life, or a fairytale prom - and this book showed the value in each experience. The stories were compact enough to enjoy in one setting, but thorough enough to stand alone. A great gift for high school students needing something to read!
