An Awesome CD!!!, March 9, 2009

I bought this CD last year, because I loved the Prom Night remake! (Unlike some people who hate its guts) I saw Prom Night the first day it came out when I was on spring break! Then, I saw it again on May 9th, 2008, the night before my Prom! I was a nominee for Prom King, but I lost. My favorite songs on this soundtrack so far are Time of the Season, and Paralyzed! I highly recommend the PROM NIGHT ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK!!!

Good soundtrack..., August 17, 2008

Like someone already said, not the soundtrack of my life, but it does have some cool tracks for a teen audience, especially tracks 1, 4 and 14 (my favorites).
Anyway, it's much much better than the movie itself, if you ask me.
Just do yourself a favor, buy the soundtrack and skip the movie. You'll thank yourself later :)

It's not my fav soundtrack of all time but there're a couple of great sounds on it:
1) time of the season:very good cover and a great start for the CD.Don't like Ben Taylor that much though,exept maybe for two or three of his songs.Really enjoyable creepy vibe on the song,perfect for the movie.4,5/5
2) this is all that we know:very good hip/hop beat,makes you wanna dance right away.5/5
3) call in the cavalry:great song,very similar to Jet and stuff but it's a compliment.5/5
4) oh my:I love love love this song,great vocals,rythm,lyrics,ect...5/5
5) love and touch:kovas is very unknow but so talented.same as track 2.4,5/5
6) I believe in your victory:I'm not a score person,but it's a shame cause it would have made a very beautiful song.3/5
7) time after time:already knew the song from "john tucker must die" but I like it very much,perfect punk/rock version for the song.It's not featured on the movie only on it trailer.5/5
8) up in here:wow Kovas made my day with this song.Same as tracks 2 and 5.5/5
9) callin' me:yeah,whatever,but I won't listen to the CD just for this song.4/5
10) deadline:aouch,can it be more already done a thousand times?!...Maybe punk fans will appriciate,but I'm not a big fan,at all.3/5
11) your eyes:hum...I know it's very cheesy and all but he has a very beautiful voice which is perfect for the music,soft and sweet.4/5
12) I still remember:I love Bloc Party but it's not their best one nor their worst,you decide.4,5/5
13) brave:another slow and soft song but with a little bit more rage and guts,love the lyrics and the way it's sung.5/5
14) paralysed:Rock Kill Kids is on of my fav band,so there's no need to say more.Love the disco kinda thing going on.5/5
I think I'm done with the review and I'm a little surprised no one made one yet...
Anyways,just give this soundtrack a try,you may not love all the songs but I'm sure you'll find a couple you'd get stuck on.Hope the movie's good to...
