The unit was easy to assemble, but the channels in the facing for the powerstrip for the electrical devices (ie, Blackberry, ipod, Bluetooth, etc,) are too narrow to be useful. They have to be by-passed or enlarged very carefully with a handsaw.

The only word I can use for this valet is horrible. There were scratches and chips in the wood as we took it out of the box. One of the side upright pieces was cracked. But the telling sign was that the holes on the front for the pants bracket were screwed up. One hole was in the correct spot but the other side was on the bottom. In other words, it was put together wrong in the factory. I contacted Amazon about the problem and they contacted Hold n Storage. Their customer service rep contacted me and asked whether I wanted a replacement or a refund. I took the refund. Too bad the product wasn't as good as their customer service.
