The promenade's adaptable design means it does the work of several different strollers in one streamlined, user-friendly package. Eight modes give you the freedom to configure the stroller to suit your growing family. And a one-hand triple recline feature for the main seat and double kit ensures your children will always travel in comfort.

Options for Traveling with Newborns

To accommodate a newborns, the promenade's seats converts into a flat beds with comfy cushioning--no need for a separate carrycot or bassinet. The stroller can become a travel system for newborns as it can accommodate a single Graco Snugride or Maxi Cosi Mico car seat with use of an adapter (sold separately). As your baby grows, the main seat allows for upright seating with an extendable sun hood for extra protection on sunny days. This seat is also reversible so you can position babies facing in or out and includes an adaptable footrest and a flexible, pivoting bumper bar.

InLine Double Modes for Two Children

When your family expands, the promenade transforms into an inline double stroller (with second seat sold separately) that offers two modes to simultaneously accommodate a newborn and a toddler. Twins or two children of approximately the same size can sit comfortably in their own forward-facing seats.

Designed for City Living

The promenade's inline design makes it easier for you to navigate through narrow doorways and other tight spaces--even in double mode. Its extendable, sliding handle, four airless EVA tires, and front wheel suspension mean you can push comfortably on paved streets, on subway platforms, and in busy shopping malls. The promenade also has three-position, telescoping handle and an easy-to-use pedal brake.

Easy Care, Storage, and Compatibility

The promenade is easy to care for, thanks to a washable seat. When it's time to pack up, the bumper bar and wheels are both removable and a simple trigger allows for a compact fold--no need to remove the main seat first.

I love this stroller! I have a 7 months old and a 2 year old and have been through a LOT of singles and doubles by this point.
Other doubles I owned: Caboose Ultralight - felt flimsy and actually broke the canopy while lifting it. Front seat is shallow and my baby could hardly fit in there. Steering it is a little cumbersome with both kids in and the ride was just ok - pretty bumpy.
Graco room for 2: really heavy for a sit and stand, the ride was super bumpy and loud to the point I was embarrassed. Sent it back after one week. Tried my singles with a ride on board which was horrible: I kept hitting the board with my legs and had to walk basically next to the stroller and push with one hand, also my 2 year old wanted to sit after a while.
I went to the BBB store with both kids one day and tried all the expensive strollers because the cheep ones just made my life so difficult getting the kids to daycare and back. I tried out the Uppababy Vista, Britax B-Ready and City Select doubles and the Promenade. From the first 3 I like the City Select best because of all the configurations of the seats, but steering all 3 of those strollers with both kids in was horrible: way to heavy, I really had to put my back into it even on the smooth floor of the store.
The Promenade, however, glides easier than my umbrella stroller with both kids in! I did not want to take the kids out. Even in the park pushing it is a breeze even with one hand. The seats are so soft and comfy and both recline fully. The handle telescopes out for taller parents. The canopies are great with the front one having a peak-a-boo window and mesh extension. Basket is pretty big and easy to get to. Folding is very easy, but you do have to remove the second seat. It is gorgeous to look at as a single or a double.

Talk about a versatile stroller!
We fell in love with Phil & Teds strollers years before even considering having kids... the build quality, design and sleek looks are just amazing.
Before purchasing the Promenade we bought the Smart+Peanut stroller, given that we live in NYC and DC we needed a stroller that didn't take up much space. Unfortunately after receiving the 'Smart' we ran into car seat compatibility issues.
After visiting a local store, we were introduced to the Promenade which was as sleek and easily maneuverable as the Smart and only about an inch wider. It is also compatible with more car seats on the market, just not Graco's SnugRide Click-Connect (we ended up going with the Maxi-Cosi Mico).

The video I made is just to show the many options and positions you can use, making it a truly all-in-one stroller.

Pros:
-Lightweight
-Easy to fold
-Materials made to last

Cons:
-Lack of accessories from Phil & Teds
-No Peanut or Snug like bassinet available for the Promenade
-No 'fun' colors available for the seat liner, hood, etc, like other P&T's models (only available colors for the Promenade: red, black, grey, and light grey)

I think our doorman nailed it the other day when he described it as "the Rolls-Royce of strollers".

You won't regret getting it!

Let me preface this review by saying that I rarely review products. However, when I run across a product that exceeds my expectations, I find it necessary to write about it. This is the Cadillac of strollers. My Sister had this stroller and loved it. I took her advice and purchased the stroller when my daughter was born. It was easy to put together and is very easy to travel with. I get comments from all the mom's about how beautiful it looks. I highly recommend this stroller.

I bought this stroller with the doubles kit, and used it for a couple of days. Definitely going to return (if I can), wanted to write a review since there are few actual user reviews of this stroller. Bottom line: do not waste your money. It is a terrible design.

I'll start with the good stuff. The design of the seats is nice. Both the main seat and the second seat convert very easily to bassinets, so you won't have any extra gear to store somewhere. I am not a huge fan of V-reclines (where the whole seat rather than just the backrest rotate around the axis) but the recline is easy and deep. Also, the basket is very large in singles mode.

That's it for the good stuff.

In singles mode, this stroller feels wrong, wrong, wrong. With the seat facing out, the seat is very far away from the adult - the stroller is very long even when the handlebar is in the standard position. It is very strange! To switch the single seat to face the parent you need to have extra pieces.

In doubles mode the stroller makes NO sense. The handlebar position is so long. I could not fit into my building's elevator. Did anyone at Phil &Teds test this thing out in the real world?

The fold is terrible. You must take the second seat off, and it is still too big in singles mode for my Lexus trunk unless it is completely empty... even if I take off the seat and back wheels. It weighs 35 pounds.

All this for a $1,000 stroller (its a thousand when you buy the doubles kit too). I'm very disappointed with the Promenade, especially after many of the stroller review sites gave it great reviews... don't know if they actually tried using the stroller! I think I'm going to go with the Britax Bready - it's not pretty but it folds with the second seat and has many of the same features. It's also half the price.
