THE PROMISE DELIVERS WHAT IT PROMISES!,
By "rshaver13" (Detroit) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Promise (Paperback)
Accounts of contact with extraterrestrials is "old hat" to those who have folowed the UFO mystery since its moderninseption in the late1940s. The era of the UFO contactee is well documented with the experiences reported by the likes of George Adamski, Howard Menger, Truman Bethrum (read: PEOPLE OF THE PLANET CLARION) and others who claimed to have met friendly beings from outer space determined to help humankind through a troubling crisis period. Dr Fred Bell's tale is a bit more "modern" in that the beings who has repeatedly met with are more into science then they are into philosophy and spiritual development. Brad Steiger tells Fred's story in an almost novel-like form leaving us to wonder if this can all be true. I went away a believer and I think this book will convince you as well that we are not alone in the universe.

Thumbs Down!,
By A Customer
This review is from: Promise (Paperback)
This book reads like an Indiana Jones movie. Sadly this book seems more fiction than truth. After reading this book, I kept thinking this really seems like a poormans Billy Meier UFO book. If you want to read a real true UFO story, I suggest you read the real Pleiadian UFO Contactee books "LIGHT YEARS" by Gary Kinder, "AND YET THEY FLY" by Guido Moosebrugger, "MESSAGE FROM THE PLEIADES" & "UFO CONTACT FROM THE PLEIADES" by Wendell Stevens!

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Promise (Paperback)
I have already read this book more than ten years ago, having borrowed it from a friend. I enjoyed what I read but never saw this book anywhere again. I finally thought about catching up with my wish list and found that I could buy the book at Amazon.com. Since I wanted this book among my collection, I immediately purchased it. I also just found out that the author Fred Bell recently passed away only about a month ago. So I make this review also in memory of Fred Bell.
