THIS IS A GOOOOOOD SONG! I THINK JAGGED EDGE WENT UP WHEN THIS HIT-SINGLE CAME OUT. THIS IS JUST A GREAT SONG, ITS A PERFECT LOVE SONG TOO, I THINK THIS SONG AND "LET'S GET MARRIED" ARE THE BEST!! I RECOMMEND IT, NOT ONLY BECAUSE ITS ME & MY BOYFRIEND'S SONG, BUT BECAUSE IS A GREAT SONG TO LISTEN TO & JUST GREAT FOR ALL THE 'GOOD FAITHFUL' GUYS TO DEDICATE TO THEIR GIRLS. I THINK THIS IS A GREAT JAM AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE......JAGGED EDGE: KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB AND KEEP THE JAMS COMIN'!!

I've heard many songs that I could relate to, but the songs on this cd outdo them all. I can imagine going through the situations and experiences this group sings about and every time I listen to Jagged Edge, it gives me chill bumps.

The remix for I Promise includes the beat for I need Love by LL Cool J and an entirely different vocal arrangement, mixed together, you have one of the tightest R&B remixes of 2001.

I left this song in heavy rotation for two days straight and my head is still noddin.

The remainder of the remix CD is good and does not take away from this song.

I Promise remix is a must for any true R&B listener to pick this one up.

It will not disappoint.

The Promise single is off the hook. the prodiction is vey nice and the remixes are hot. Basically there's the slow remixes and the dance remixes. I can't wait for the album A Jagged Little Thrill this spring. Jagged Edge is one of the few groups besided Dru Hill and 112 who can equal New Edition. Promise in my opinon will go down in history as a wedding song.

This single is so good. The way they sing, the fitting beats and everything makes this r&b song a modern classic. Buy it, I promise you wouldn't be disappointed.
