A Promise of Light is the best album Jamie has done yet! Her recent tour to promote this album was awesome! If you want comedy mixed with some serious, this is the album for you! Great voice! Great insights!

not nearly as likeable as previous CDs, August 2, 2005

She has always had a folksy-country sound and I always loved the funny stories she tells. But the stories are essentially the same and she has gone overboard on the country-twangy sound.

Superb new songs, March 31, 2005

This album features superb songs from a talented singer/songwriter/instrumentalist. It is a very solid addition to her previous work and shows that she continues to grow and mature as an artist.
