This book contains dozens of messages and essays, some ofwhich were written by persons who knew they would soon be remembered via the Quilt, so their stories seem especially poignant, but it is good that they recorded their feelings and thoughts for posterity. Other stories are by friends, lovers, parents, etc. One of the longer stories is "My Own Little Message" which I wrote some years back. -John Morse Albany NY March 2005 |
