Good plot but no love for the hero,

This review is from: Promises in Paradise (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This was a good book but I had issues with the hero. I couldn't fall in love with him, he never really acknowledged the heroine feelings. It was all about him. Plus the heroine was so unsure of herself. It's not a keeper.

Ms Kitt, it took me a minute to realize this book, "Promises In Paradise", was connected to your 1st book for Harlequin, "Adam and Eva"!!! Congrats on a great book. Diane and Hale, in their own musings and together, said they wanted a love just like Adam and Eva... Being older, they both had loads of baggage( teen love and 1st marriages) to get rid of before they could trust. Granted the physical, the hormones were resolved quickly but the next level seemed very elusive especially for Diane. Hale made her work for it but true love prevailed. Thanks for letting us revisit old friends/ characters. Looking forward to reading more Romance from you in the future. You never disappoint!!!. Mary

What happened to Ms. Kitt,

I have been a fan of Ms. Kitt for a long time, and I don't know where her writing is going too. I love the fact that she went back and teased us with her first book Adam and Eva(great book and writing). But this book, not so good. The story line is boring the main characters don't connect. Ms. Kitt is a better writer than this. Just go back to any of her earlier books and you will be hooked. Don't judge this book by Ms. Kitts usual writing abilities.

Sandra Kitt has turned out another great novel. Without question, she is one of the premier authors of the romance genre. She is, however, so much more. If you have read "The Color of Love" you know what I mean. Regrettably, Kimani Romance is not the best publisher for someone with Ms. Kitt's talents. She belongs among the outstanding authors of G. P. Putnam and/or Ballantine Books (Random House). With the high quality of the body of Ms. Kitt's work, it's a shame that she hasn't been offered the opportunities equal to her talents.
