This book is told in first person by Cheyenne, a teenage girl who is learning how to be strong and thoughtful of decisions that will affect herself and more importantly, others in her life. Cheyenne's lot in life is one that most seventeen year olds would never dream of or choose. Cheyenne grows from her mistakes, opens her heart and accepts the what seems impossible tasks before her with resolve and determination. As Cheyenne accepts her destiny and her out of this world inheritance, several mysteries unravel, new mysteries emerge and the plot thickens to the point that you won't want to put the book down.

The "Timeless" concept is intriguing and the paranormal/supernatural abilities of the characters add a layer to this exciting book that will draw you in and take you on an action packed ride. I thoroughly enjoyed the supernatural aspects of the story, but what really sets this story apart is that love is at the core. Real love. This book has it all; a best friend's love, lustful love, familial love, deep love and, of course, a love undefined by this world.

If I had to pick just three words, I'd choose: suspenseful, fast paced, and captivating. Believe me, this is one book you'll hate to see end. I can't stop thinking about it! Bring on book three!

I would recommend this book for any fan that liked the twilight movies.The character in this story is like Bella in the movie twilight which i felt was selfish .

I really love this story, fell in love with the first book and I really like this book, it is a page turner and the way she narrates the story it makes you feel as if you are inside the book. I cannot wait until the next book so here is to hoping it will be sooner than later.
