Although I do not consider myself a "true" Christian in that sense, reading this book filled me at once with thankfulness, inspiration, and fulfillment of God. Various biblical quotes are conveniently categorized for you, from subjects such as Faith to Forgiveness. Each heading has at least a page of quotes to bring you closer to God's meaning and intentions for those subjects. At such a modest price, I suggest you keep one book tucked away for personal guidance and buy another one for a friend who needs spiritual lifting.

I received this book as a gift a few years ago and I absolutely love it. It's like a giant index of all yor favorite bible verses. Inside the front lists many different categories such as, god's love, salvation, forgiveness, courage, etc. and the page number next to it. I use it during my quiet times, I'll pick a category I'm struggling with our want to know more about and it gives me at least two pages of great verses.. I can either stick with those or expand my looking up the verses before and after in my bible. It's a great pocket size for fitting in my purse. The pages are great quality and lined nice to match your journal or bible. I love using it for writing encouraging notes or helping a friend by looking up a struggle shes going through or a topic for conversation and thought. I've given this as a gift many times and it's been highly complimented. It's small, inexpensive, yet so useful.. great for a gift or just for furthering your scriptural knowledge and relationship with God! Totally recommend!

This is the type of book that you keep with you constantly and when you are feeling'down' turn to God and read what he has to say and your feelings will be uplifted.

I received this book as a gift from a friend. I have been going through some difficult times and he told me that hopefully this book would give me some comfort. I was very pleased and the more that I read it the more that I become inspired. I in turn bought several of these books for my family members. They have said that they are enjoying it tremendously. I recommend it to anyone who needs some inspiration in their lives.

I have used this book for years and absolutely love it ! I recently bought them for gifts for new Christians. Simply look up one of the main categories in the Table of Contents or look up an area of interest in the index in the back of the book. The page numbers are listed for scriptures pertaining to the areas of interest. I use this book alot to find scripture about certain areas and then I look them up in my bible to read the entire chapter and read the scripture in context.

This book sits right on my desk and I reach for it to provide much encouragement and timely motivation. The words within are indeed "more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the comb." (Psalm 19:10)

I have found this book to be of great help when I am going through a trial. It reminds me that God is always bigger and better at handling my troubles than I am and he is always faithful to do so. The book is divided into different areas that trouble us all.
