It adapts grounded plugs to non-grounded outlets (3-prong to 2-prong) for US plug types. I bought this for going traveling, actually - most US-to-international plug adapters you find are only two-prong, so if you have something you need to plug in that has a ground prong, it doesn't work. This adapter takes care of that nicely.

The product was good. Shipment came on time. only thing I was confused with was I thought there were two in there but there is only one

I am so glad that I got them. I have used them both already and may get more. It is wonderful for outdoor electrical work. I can see where I will need them for indoor jobs, as well.

Needed this since the outlets in a room of my house don't have 3 prongs. This made for an easy solution.

I moved into a home with older sockets. Got these bad boys and that was that. They work perfectly fine. I have been using them for several months with no problems.

I purchased this product to plug in and ground computers and cooking appliances in an apartment that only has two-pronged electrical outlets. I have recommended this product to friends and family, and I will buy again.

The product performs exactly as desired, and successfully grounds appliances if the grounding tab is attached with metal screws to an outlet faceplate with a properly-grounded central screwhole. The grounding tab is reasonably durable, and successfully kept a device plugged in when I accidentally tripped over the power cord.

I loved this product so much i forgot to write in. haha sorry about that. This is very convenient to have. I even use this in my apartment because some of the outlets only have 2 prongs and my laptop has three. which made me tempted to just cut it off. (not recommended btw) this converter is an easy slip in and out of the wall and what ever you attach to it. just remember you have it, i forgot it in a mall, stupid mistake on my part but other people were using it and got upset when i took it away. lol XD for what, about three bucks or so it's so worth to have just in case you have those long days or if you need to quickly charge something and need a 2 prong slot. You'll be happy you did, as am I.

This product does exactly what it says it will do. Simple and to the point, there's not much more to say. The only downside I have is that it took a little long to come in the mail for such a small item.

I could not believe how hard this was to find online. Works great. Saved me fare to the store to get one.

These converters work great, I just moved into a new house, and my bedroom only had 2 hole wall outlets. So I bought a couple of these and it works great!
