5.0 out of 5 stars About Time
About time
It is about time we had an 'on the fence' opinion, rather than either an atheist or a believer spouting their own propaganda. Gardiner has eruditely expressed what many think and dare not say in this all encompassing book that simply goes where none dare. From Christ to Chrishna, he works through the information in a challenging and in fact enjoyable way...

3.0 out of 5 stars Questioning
In reading this book Gardiner seems to prove that almost nothing can be proven. Although I am a devout Christian whose solid faith did not waiver with his words, I did enjoy reading his expansive historical knowledge. He has an almost mellow may of writing about such a controversial subject. Christian may balk at his questioning but no one can question his dedication...

5.0 out of 5 stars About Time, June 1, 2006

It is about time we had an 'on the fence' opinion, rather than either an atheist or a believer spouting their own propaganda. Gardiner has eruditely expressed what many think and dare not say in this all encompassing book that simply goes where none dare. From Christ to Chrishna, he works through the information in a challenging and in fact enjoyable way that I found impossible to put down. I fully endorse this book and would say to all people that search for truth not to look for it in fiction like the Da Vinci Code, but to seek out scholars such as Gardiner.

Philip Gardiner figures if you're interested in this book, you have questions. He further realizes that what he has to say won't be readily accepted by a lot of people because it challenges very basic tenets of many people's lives: religion, belief, and faith He may also change your perception of god. With information ranging from quantum physics to Christianity, he explores a plethora of questions--maybe even yours! Inquiring minds go forward!

4.0 out of 5 stars The big questions, July 19, 2008
This review is from: Proof: Does God Exist? (Paperback)
Gardiner returns to some of his favorite subject matter: quantum physics, spirituality, UFOs, and unseen forces. As always, he poses a lot of questions, and expects you to pose more of your own. If this peaks your interest, check out some of his DVDs, like Keys to the Code and Quantum Mind of God.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a profound question, September 12, 2007

I thought this book might have been written by a true Athiest, but in fact the author details a fascinating time line of religious history and a great number of details that have been mysteriously overlooked. Ultimately this book is about the journey inward towards true personal enlightenment and empowerment. Good read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbiased, September 11, 2007

Usually people discussing this subject are so opinionated that you never get any objectivity. Really liked Gardiner's non-biased approach. Highly credible.

5.0 out of 5 stars Athiest or Scientist, August 24, 2007
This review is from: Proof: Does God Exist? (Paperback)
Not the author's best book but definately a highly interesting read about the eternal question of whether God actually exists or not. As in his usual style, the author provides extensive research to determine his conclusions. Good one.

5.0 out of 5 stars A THINKER'S book!, March 29, 2007

This review is from: Proof: Does God Exist? (Paperback)
There are higher states of consciousness available to us all, but one is not likely to find them through just a literal reading of the Bible. All of Gardiner's book are bursting with information. He has done his research! Among his discoveries are that Christianity has copied the idea of the virgin birth and the Savior's birth from ancient Egyptian and pagan sources. Furthermore, Zoraster was said to have been born of a virgin; likewise, Mohammad's daughter, Fatima, was said to have been a virgin, even though she birthed three sons. Isis immaculately conceived Horis, who was an ancient Egyptian savior. The Jewish scholar Favious Josephus' few lines about Jesus are being questioned now by scholars as probable forgeries or inserts. One needs to also read THE SHINING ONES, another book by the same author. Proof of God's Existence? Read both books and decide for yourselves.

5.0 out of 5 stars ***** The Unvarnished Truth Unlike The Da Vinci Code *****, June 1, 2006
This review is from: Proof: Does God Exist? (Paperback)
Philip Gardiner uses words like a skilled-surgeon uses a scapel: to cut-out the dis-eased portions of our atrophied religious belief systems. Indeed this new book should come with a Medical Disclaimer --- Warning: Not To Be Read by the Thinking Impaired -- for it is a huge dose of truth that may choke many ill-prepared readers. You really have to take small-bites to digest all this author is telling us in such a comprehensible yet challenging way. I mean most of us have been wearing an intellectual straight-jacket so long when it comes to reading the Holy Bible that we no longer see the truth; that it was written as a parable, a story that teaches the truth, not is the truth so help me God. That is, God, whatever that word means anymore is clearly left up to our imagination Gardiner wisely points out, surely needs a facelift. It must be exhausting careening through the cosmos looking for created creatures to breathe hell fire and brimstone upon. Read this book and get your sense of humor back as well as the cobwebs out of your consciousness. This is a real page-turner, a book to have in every home library for future reference too. For if I have read between-the-lines correctly there is a much larger message being graciously given to us in it. It is simply: Prepare for the World NOT to End!!!
