If you came looking to find that beautiful Van Morrison track that rolls through the end sequence in the mountains of Belize...like the man before said, it's called, "I'll be your lover, too." It's on the album "His Band and the Street Choir."

Background Music,

I remembered liking the music in the movie, then was disappointed with this cd. It is good background music while you are doing something else and that's about it.

As a "Soundtrack Nerd" I would rather have a CD with the music composed for the movie only. If I want Van Morrison's music, I'll buy his CD and enjoy all of his work not just one song. (I bought it -- it's great)So many soundtracks have extra songs not really a part of the movie. This practice makes a CD that doesn't really satisfy anyone. I appreciate Danny Elfman's effort to keep this soundtrack free of pop music. I wish more composers would value their music enough to insist the "soundtrack" contain more of their music!

The Album Proof Of Life,

This review is from: Proof of Life: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (2000 Film) (Audio CD)
I find it average, but extremely aggrevating. The best and most important piece of music, Van Morrison's final song is not on the Album....How on earth do the producers allow this? I like the Canadian reviewer would like to know the name of the song Van sang and where I can get it?
