5.0 out of 5 stars Confused About Title
I bought Prophecy of the Stones last Christmas for my niece. She loved it!! This Christmas I bought Prophecy of the Gems. It's the same book. Is anyone else finding this true?

1.0 out of 5 stars DISAPPOINTED.....
This is the same exact book with a different title as Prophecy of the Stones. My neice loved Prophecy of the Stones and was so excited for what we thought was the sequel and was crushed when we finally got the book and found it was the same. Very misleading and decieving if you ask me to put the same book out with a new title.

4.0 out of 5 stars figured it out, June 26, 2006
This review is from: Prophecy of the Gems (Hardcover)
I figured out why this book is the same as The Prophecy of the Stones but has a different name. The Prophecy of the Stones was also published in the UK as "The Prophecy of the Gems".

I read the USA published form of the book The phrophecy of the stones I found the book to be interesting and engageing, but a little perdictable. I find it amazing to think that the author was only 12 when she started it and 14 when it was published and when i take that into consideration as i heard the story i was amazed. It is very well writen and I look forward to see if she publishes more and how they change as she grows older and changes with years. I would say this book would be more interesting to younger people but i think adults would enjoy it too.

1.0 out of 5 stars Title change????, July 30, 2009
By
This review is from: Prophecy of the Gems (Paperback)
I hated Prophecy of the Stones, and apparently Prophecy of the Gems is the same book with a different title. Very misleading for the crazy people who actually liked this book and wanted to buy what they thought was the sequel. Did the author change the title (I like this one better) or was it published under a different title in another country?

4.0 out of 5 stars Same as The Prophecy of the Stones, September 17, 2007
This review is from: Prophecy of the Gems (Paperback)
I was looking for new books to read when I saw this one. I read The Prophecy of the Stones about two years ago and I thought this was the sequel. Even though The Prophecy of the Stones was a good book, it doesn't need two different titles.

5.0 out of 5 stars The prophecy of the three stones, August 9, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Prophecy of the Gems (Hardcover)
This is a book written by Flavia Bujor. It was written in French then translated into English.

This book is about a quest, a journey to conquer the evil to reveal freedom. The main characters are Jade, Amber and Opal.

Jade was always thinking that she was taller than others so she didn't get along well with the two. Amber had lots of feelings and she is quite sensitive. Opal didn't really feel anything, her life was dull and everyday was the same as the day before. But as their friendship grew stronger they learnt to care about others.

They were connected with their stones. The stones had a gift it was hope.

The evil group is the council of twelve which holds every bit of hope and freedom to a loss.

There is a fantasy not so far away from the three girls waiting for them to free the other side of the world to their freedom; the path that lay ahead was unpredictable.

A great battle is held to conquer the evil with the army of light and the army of darkness.

I like this book because I like magic and I like fantasy and excitement and in this book the author used powerful words that made my spirit soar. I don't know what's bad about this book because every chapter is filled with magic and fantasy sprinkled over it. I would love to read another book like this !

1.0 out of 5 stars Awful, June 3, 2006
This review is from: Prophecy of the Gems (Hardcover)
I'm sorry. Maybe it was better in French than in English, but I found this book predictable and tedious. The characters have little depth and the plot--wait, there isn't one good enough to be CALLED a plot.
