Book Description

January 1, 2005
The Bible reveals that every Christian can hear from God and speak prophetically to others. This book provides scriptural encouragement and practical instruction to help you: * Discover how God speaks to you * Discern when and how to speak prophetically to others * Understand and interpret dreams and visions * Recognize how prophecy functions in the local church * Overcome obstacles unique to ministering prophetically. Steve Thompson is a skilled prophet. He writes from a wealth of diverse prophetic experience and years of patient scriptural study. You May All Prophesy is the most practical, helpful, and to the point book I have read on prophetic ministry.

5.0 out of 5 stars great practical book, January 4, 2005
This review is from: You May All Prophesy! Practical Guidelines for Prophetic Ministry (Paperback)
I have experienced Morning Star and Steve Thompson's teachings, and this book is one of the most practical, to-the-point books on spiritual gifts that you will find. Great book, great insight. Would recomend it to any Christian who is seeking to expand their intimacy with Christ and ability to minister profoundly to others.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not for Cessationists!, October 30, 2006
By
This review is from: You May All Prophesy! Practical Guidelines for Prophetic Ministry (Paperback)
This is one of the best books I have read re: personal prophecy. The focus is not on public prophetic messages in church services, but one-on-one individual words of edification, exhortation & comfort.
Guidelines are offered for principles of revelation, interpretation & application. There is much encouragement for the hungry learner & warnings for those who would want to use or abuse this gift for themselves only. Illustrative stories provide real-world examples. Biblical references abound, also.
If you don't believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit (see review title), as given in 1 Corinthians 12:1-10, are for today, then you will not likely be blessed by this book.
