This is the book that changed my life. I am extremely grateful to the author for writing this book and saving my soul from eternal damnation. God is not hatred, He is love. He is not a Jihadi, He is a Savior. He does not tell to kill, but to forgive. His heaven is not a place of all sorts of perversions but a place of peace, truth and love. I give 10 out of 10 for this book and salute the author and the publisher for bringing out this book. It will save the souls and lives of many more muslims from eternal damnation.

Before I go any further, a word or two about perception. Everyone thinks that what he/she believes is true; What others believe is immaterial or incorrect. But the fact remains that out of the 4 major religions - Judaism/Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Athetism/Communism, only one is true. Believing in one, automatically makes the others false. People might not realize this; but it is precisely this mutual exclusion principle that holds. There is another group which states that all worship the same God, even though the paths of worship are different. They compare God to a mountain top and religion to different paths to get there. Is this is so, then why do our holy books contradict one another. Which is true - Killing/Jihad will get us to Heaven(Islam) or Forgiving(Christianity), Reincarnation(Hinduism) or Resurrection(Christianity), Man is God(Hinduism) or God became Man(Christianity), There is a God(Religion) or there is no God(Athetism), Idol worship is the greatest sin on Earth(Christianity) or God wants all Idol Worshippers killed(Islam) or Idol worship is the path to God(Hinduism). This diffence is one thing that Craig Winn brings out in his book.

Reading some of the reviews over here amazes me. Fellow Muslims (and some Ladies married to Muslims) are trying to defend Islam saying that it is fastest growing religion. Does fastest growing mean that it is not bad? Islam is fastest growing because it is concentrated in the underdeveloped tropical regions where the population is multiplying faster than rabbits. Conversion wise, the number of people who become Muslims (mostly ladies married to muslims are forced to convert) are slightly greater than the people who leave the religion. If conversion is an issue, then know this - Every year about 2,000 Kashmiri Muslims become Christian. In Iran, the figure is 15,000 per year. In Indonesia, it is 30,000 per year.
The above reasoning on the part of muslims reminds me of the Quran where the fact that birds can fly, the existence of the sky and heaven etc are used to prove that Allah exists!! This is the height of Foolishness. Craig Winn has nicely highlighted this in his book.

Fellow Muslims like to fool themselves by saying that the God of the Muslims is same as the God of the Jews and the Christians. Is this true? Consider the following (extracted from Craig Winns Book):
1. The essence of the Bible is the 10 commandments. Where are 10 commandments in the Quran? The Apostle of Allah broke every one of the 10 commandments.
2. Is it possible that God who states in the 6th commandment "Thou shall not Kill" will say in the Quran, "Slay the Idol worshippers wherever you find them"? (Because they refuse to worship Allah). No this comes from Satan.
3. Is it possible that the God who promised Isreal through Abraham "I will bless thee who blesses you and curse thee who curses you" will say through Muhammad "Kill any Jew who falls in your Power" and "The Bestial transformation occured when Allah converted the Jews into Apes"?
4. The Bible was written by 46 people over 1200 centuries, yet none of the verses are abrogated(cancelled out), while the Quran which is the work of a Man has lot of verses abrogated out even though it was revealed over a period of only 20 years. Reminds me of the verse from the Bible "God is not a man, that he may be threatened; neither is he as the son of man, that he should be WAVERING"(Judith 8:16). The Quran is not the work of God, but of Man.
5. The Quran has satanic verses in it. How did they land there if the Quran is the work of God and Muhammad is the greatest prophet?
6. The Quran claims that Jihad is the only sure way to reach Allah's paradise. Killing is a sure shot way in Judaism/Christianity to reach Satan's paradise. Does this mean that Allah and Satan are the same? Because YAHWEH claims in the Bible "For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings" (Hosea 6:6)
7. Allah wants to be feared, Yahweh wants to be loved. Allah wants all Muslims who leave their religion like me killed. But Yahweh is all about free will.
8. Allah has created woman as pleasure things for Man, Yahweh has created woman as a equal partner for Man.

Being an ex-muslim and knowing the Quran and the Bible in and out, I can state that what Craig Winn has written is true. He does not mince words. He calls a spade a spade. The world needs more of such people. Like Craig Winn, People like Socrates and Jesus too had to suffer because of such Truthful behaviour.

Reading the Hadiths/Sunnah gives the clearcut picture of Muhammad. He is what Craig Winns calls him in his book... Problem is most fellow muslims have never even seen the Hadiths, forget about reading them. And the Quran is a mystery of its own. Most of the verses in the Quran are open ended, leaving a lot to guesswork, unlike the Bible. Out of 6000 odd verses, only 700 can be understood in their entirety. Out of the rest, another 1200 are completely beyond the understanding of man. Only Allah can understand them.(Quran 3:7).

Whats more, Muhammad's great commandment is "If a Muslim leaves his religion, then kill him". Isa Al-Masih's(Jesus) great commandment was "Love one another and pray for those who persecute you". Can there be any comparison between Jesus and Muhammad. One is life, the other death.
The word Muslim means "True Believer" or "Believer of the True Religion". As True Believers, I will advise all Muslims to read this book by Craig Winn with an unbaised mind. (Most of the Muslims who have written the one star reviews have not read Craig Winn's book). I am sure you will leave Islam like I did 1 year back. This books correctly depicts Muhammad as a thief, a raider, a pervert and whatever the Hadiths describes him as. But most importantly you will realize that Muhammad is what I have come to believe - Allah himself.

Christianity and Judaism too have their own share of bad things. But they pale in comparison to the deeds of Islam. Islam in the name of religion have killed more people that all of the other religions put together. Even as late as 1915, Turkey was 30% christian. So what happened to them? They were taken and dumped in huge pits and buried alive. Many others were loaded inside barges and sank in the Mediterrean sea. A total of 1.8 million christians were killed. Reason - They were non-Muslim. Again consider this, Pakistan had 23% Hindus, Christians and Sikhs as late as 1977. 23 years later, the non-Muslims number 3%. What has happened to the rest 20%? Killed, Molested, Forcibly Converted. A few have been lucky to escape to India. In my own state Kashmir(India), the plight of Kashmiri Pandits (Hindus) is well known. They have been gunned down for not converting to Islam. This is the true essence of Islam which Craig Winn brings out in his book. This is the reason also why there is a mad rush among Kashmiri's for Christianity i.e. From the Sword to Peace. As in 2005, the number of hidden muslim believers in Christ in Kashmir was estimated to be about 30,000 apart from the 30,000 traditional christians. i.e. A 50,000 increment in the last 15 years.

The greatness of a religion is seen in the behaviour of its people. As you sow, you shall reap. It is just a cause and effect relationship. In every Islamic country there is hell. Look at countries like Bangladesh, Pakistan and even Kashmir. The Kafirs(Infidels - Non Muslims) have been wiped clean by the Muslims. The life of non-muslims in these countries is worse than the life of Dogs and swines. Islam is not about Heaven, it is about Hell; not about life, it is about death. I once again salute Craig Winn for bringing out this book. Hats off to him. I recommend everyone - muslim or non-muslim who is in seach of the true to purchase this book. It is a must have.

This book is difficult to find but can be read online. It is an amazing book. Anyone who is familiar with current events or familiar with history should already be aware that that there is a strong fanatical element within Islam. What Craig Winn does is to show that the fanatical element is a very basic part of Islam.

Muslims seem willing to do anything to attack this book and that includes lying about it. It is a basic tenet of Islam that is OK to do almost anything to promote Islam and its path and that includes lying about it when necessary. Most religions look for truth and try to follow the path of truth. It is important that non Muslims understand that Islam is not looking for truth and has no desire to find truth. In the negative reviews below you will find numerous reviews attacking Winn and this book that are full of lies. The recent review below that states that "all the quotes that are in this book are fake" is a complete lie. Winn goes to great effort to cite his sources and even a child with a copy of the Koran can see that Winn's references to the Koran are completely accurate.

If you have any questions about the underpinnings or goals of Islam, read this book.

I have studied world religion for over 25 years. I have to agree with Don. Most of those who are writing reviews have not read this book, have not read the whole Koran and or any history.

The book, the facts and history are all real. Not even most Muslims know their own; written words, their religion or the history.

You also need to keep in mind evil likes to hide and wait. If you are one of those people who think Nazism was wiped out in WWII, and that the Koran is a book about God's love, then this book is not for you.

If you want a real review, you can not get it here. The hate is listed here in review, is evil trying to hide itself. The Koran is an evil document. It has speared to those who are lazy and wish to control others by fear and slavery. Look at all the Islamic history, nothing but violence, that is start by Islamics, but then blame on others. There is no positive coming from Islamic countries other then oil, which I am not to sure is good. All Islamic countries are second and third world, who can not accept (due to the Koran) freedom of will and democracy. And all Muslims use a much distorted pass history to justify their current evil.

Islam never takes responsibility for its evil. Satanism teaches the same things.

Winn's book is a wake up call to the world of the growing Evil. Read this book and the Koran and you will understand just how evil and dangerous all Muslims are.

First time I came across the content of this book on its website, I was shocked and repulsed beyond words. I thought that perhaps the author was just making stuff up, as Muslims always fooling themselves and others by stating that all written in this book is a lie, while in fact the evidence is overwhelming and undeniable.

Many months after coming accross the book's website, after being briefly exposed to the light of truth and rejecting it, I was desperately trying to convince myself that Islam is not as bad as portrayed in "Prophet of Doom", desperately searching for the moderate Islam on the web, but the harder I tried, I found it more repulsive and violent. Eventually, I stumbled across Ali Sina's Faith Freedom International website, and once I saw how much sense he makes in his writing, and that no one is able to refute him, I realized that I cannot fool myself any longer.

Shortly after, I decided to dive deeply into the Islamic scriptures, and see what they have to say, so I decided to listen to this book on a CD(Available for free on the book's site), and the further it went, the more I realized how bad Islam actually is. This book contains everything one needs to know about Muhammad and the nature of Islam as derived directly from its scriptures. I recommend everyone, Muslims and non-Muslims alike to read this book and learn the truth.

Muslims should read this book to see why they should be embarrassed for being part of such hateful, intolerant and violent religion. If I were a Muslim, I would definitely been embarrassed by now. At first you might find reading this book uncomfortable, but once you face the truth, you will be eternally greatful to the author. Trust me, this book is worth your time. The truth, and only the truth about your religion is handed down to you for free on a golden platter. You have nothing to lose by reading it, but have a lot to gain. May the truth set you all free.

As for the politically correct non-Muslims who still insist that Islam is a "religion of peace", wake up and smell the coffee! How much longer do you think you can fool yourselves? How many more terrorist attacks must occur before you realize? How many more innocents should die? Read this book, and face the truth, even if it's harsh! Truth is not always pleasing, but once you accept it, you will feel much better. Just read this book.

With the worldwide Muslim rioting over Danish CARTOONS?!?! fresh in the news and seeing that even in places where the protests have been peaceful, where the placards and banners still call for the beheading and death of those who would mock Islam, I think back to the previous killing of Theo van Gogh in Holland.

These things brought clearer to my mind the passage in Mr. Winn's book that the basis for this "aberration" are the very texts of Islam itself.


"Hadith from Bukhari, Volume 4, Book 52, Number 270: Bukhari:V4B52N270 "Allah's Messenger said, `Who is ready to kill Ashraf? HE HAS SAID INJURIOUS THINGS ABOUT ALLAH AND HIS APOSTLE.' Maslama got up saying, `Would you like me to kill him?' The Prophet proclaimed, `Yes.' Maslama said, `Then allow me to lie so that I will be able to deceive him.' Muhammad said, `You may do so.'" Islam gives Muslims a license to lie and kill."
"page 94 of the History of al-Tabari, Volume VII. "Ashraf suspected no evil when Maslama cried, `Smite the enemy of Allah!' So they smote him, and their swords clashed over him. Maslama said, `I remembered my dagger and I seized it. I thrust it into the lower part of his body. I bore down upon it until I reached his genitals. Allah's enemy fell to the ground.'"

"Ishaq:368 "We carried his head back to Muhammad during the night, saluted the Prophet as he stood praying, and cast Ashraf's head before his feet. The Prophet praised Allah that THE POET HAD BEEN SLAIN, and complimented us on the good work we had done in Allah's Cause. Our attack upon Allah's enemy cast terror among the Jews, and there was no Jew in Medina who did not fear for his life.'" Murder and terror are Islam's "good works."
"Ishaq:368 "Ashraf's body was left prostrate. After his fall, all of the Jews were brought low. Sword in hand we cut him down. By Muhammad's order we were sent secretly to his home by night. Brother killing brother. We lured him to his demise with deviousness. We made him taste death with our deadly swords. We sought victory for the religion of the Prophet."


I'm really starting to wonder if the "Peaceful" Muslims who seem more worried about the supposed "slander of their good name" from the West than the real? slander of their very faith by the so-called "Extremist Islamikazies" aren't really just biding their time while the "extremists" they're all funding finally goad the free world into a catagorical response to Islam in general. Then it will be much easier to claim that they were the ones who were wronged first.

If bin Laden and his kind are REALLY such a perversion of the Islamic faith, Why aren't the "Moderates" trying even harder than we are to wipe them out for dragging their religion down? Rather than hanging on his every word from his mouth-piece network -Al Jezeera

Winn reveals, in detail, with extensive citations to the Quran's own passages, how this religion is oriented toward anything but peace. Islam promotes the killing of non believers, treating non believers as animals, and treating non believers with dishonesty and disdain.

If you want to know what kind of people support this kind of religion, just read the one star reviews below--ignorance, stupidity and above all dishonesty are their hallmarks.

As a Lebanese Christian and now a Zionist as well fluent in Arabic, this writing is worthwhile to educate the Moslem and non-Moslem alike on what is corrupt within the following of such a false prophet. Winn puts this book of hard readings forward to show where the problems are and what is the root cause to all the terrorism, imperialism and corruption continually faced today within countries like Spain, England, Israel, America and in many Islamic nations, due to sect differences, themselves. I do hope that many read this book, more so if one is of the left wing persuasion, due to its accuracy and decide to solve the problem within the Middle East by NOT rewarding terrorism with a State but to force the recognition of the lands mandated by the Leage of Nations and the United Nations to Israel (including the Westbank and Gaza). The advocation of transferring the Moslem out of democratic Israel back to their own lands. A must read is "From Time Immemorial" - Joan Peters, "A History of Israel" - H.Sacher, "Return of Anti-Semitism" - G. Schoenfeld, "The High Cost of Peace" - Y. Bodansky.

When I was 17, I read both the Quran and Hadith out of respect for my brother who had just converted to Islam. I found it repulsive and beyond comprehension that anyone could accept the vile rantings of a "trickless magician" and "self-appointed" prophet who could not accurately quote (it's true, Muhammad could neither read or write!) the Torah and the New Testament accurately. This book confirms my suspicion about Islam that I have harbored for the better part of sixteen years. I highly recommend buying the book for your friends and family to read. I also recommend buying the Quran and the Hadith for comparative study with this book.
By the way, my brother saw the light and returned to Christianity seven years ago!

Deuteronomy 18:20,
"But any prophet who speaks in the name of other gods or presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded the prophet to speak- that prophet shall die." You may say to yourself, "How can we recognize a word that the Lord has not spoken"? If a prophet speaks in the name of the Lord but the thing does not take place or prove true, it is a word that the Lord has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; thus do not be frightened by it.

1. Muhammad DID NOT have the ability to predict the future nor did any of his so called prophecies come true.

Muhammad claims to have the "seal of the prophets" marked on his back. Nowhere in the Torah, Dead Sea Scrolls or the Gospels make the claim that the prophets are marked with a seal in the shape of an apple. The seal of the prophet is the anointing of the head by a Levitical priest. Something this obvious that is know in all of the books mentioned, Muhammed never makes a claim of it. Also, he was not taken into the "Holy of holies" (the tabernacle of the Ark of the Covenant) after his anointing. Therefore, his claim to be a prophet is false.

2.Muhammad's geanology

Muhammad can't trace his geanology to any of the twelve tribes of Israel (the twelve sons of Jacob). The prophets are the decendants of Ephraim and Manesseh (the exception was Moses, he was a Levite), the two sons of Joseph (Josesph is the son of Jacob and the first in the bible to predict the future and interpret dreams). All of Joseph's prophecies came true.

3. According to the Quran and Hadiths, Muhammad had great difficulty remembering the word of his god and would often discard it and replace with something new to appease his followers.

God's word is infinite. No one is to add or subtact from it. Muhammad didn't heed the warning to the Rabbi's instruction when they read to him the Torah.

4. Muhammad broke the ten commandments.

Thou shall not take the name of your Lord God in vain

. Taking an oath in God's name and purjuring oneself making God out to be a liar.
. Calling down evil (damnation)
. Using God's name in the act of murder or war
. Trivializing, degrading, affronting God, saints and sacred things

As a matter of fact, Muhammad broke almost all of the ten commamdments. Muhammad is indeed a strange character. He calls Christians Infidels (unbelievers), yet at the same time uses the New Testament to give the Quran legitmacy. You can't have it both ways.

I've heard it said that the Gospels predict the coming of Muhammad. THAT IS NOT TRUE! The "Paracleet" IS the Holy Spirit that decendent down to Mary and the Apostles during Pentacost (Advent).


The author of this book used the Quran and Hadith as it's main resource. To deny what is factual in the Quran and Hadith is to deny "Allah" and his "prophet". To do so would render both the Quran and Islam useless.

Craig Winn did what we all should of done. Take the time to really understand Islam. I did this myself, I set out to understand Islam, I earnestly and sincerely searched in the doctrines of Islam to see if it really was inspired by God. Prophet of Doom is a no nonsense approach to studying. What Prophet of Doom brings is direct quotes of the most venerated texts in Islam, and what one finds is very revealing.

One of the things I respect most about Winn is that he has undertaken this immense task at great cost to him for no profit. What was important to him was to educate people about Islam. Please, take the time to do the research on Islam. Look at both sides. I believe `Prophet of Doom" is an essential part of that research. I noticed that other comments said that Winn is a profiteer. This is obviously not so, the entire book is available for free online at Prophet of Doom Website to read or to listen to. Do yourself a favor and go there and make your own decision.

When I started his book I couldn't believe the things which I was reading, they were just so horrendous. But I took the time to check out the sources. I bought "The Life of Muhammad" by Ishaq, and several Volumes of "The History of al-Tabari." [Both available on Amazon] Winn was not misrepresenting them.

Craig Winn takes the reader through the fundamental texts that form the basis of Islam: the Quran and the histories of the words, life and deeds of Mohammmad (Sira, Sunnah, and Hadith). He uses a full spectrum of translations and arranges the stories in the chronological order in the context of Mohammad's life. This is the absolute core of Islam, and Winn quotes it in extensive (I'm tempted to say "excruciating") detail. He also adds his own analyses along the way.

The result is a devasting picture of the true nature of Islam. This new understanding will change your view of world events forever. The worst behavior carried out in the name of Islam around the world is, unfortunately, quite consistent with the Islam revealed in this book. We ignore these unpleasant facts at great peril.

Islamic scholars often contend that the Quran (and associated works) can't be translated and must be read in Arabic. Considering the content, one can understand why they don't want us to see it laid out clearly. We can see their only recourse in the reviews posted here: denial and calls for suppression of the book. It's hard to claim that Winn takes things out of context, since the original works are heavily quoted at every turn.

I should point out that some, but not all, of Winn's critiques are from a Judeo-Christian perspective. Some atheist/agnostic readers may find this annoying, but they are free to skip over those parts, of course.
