This book is good ...but not great. But then I am comparing PROPHET to "PIERCING THE DARKNESS" and also "THIS PRESENT DARKNESS" which are two of my favorite ...nay I will say that the ARE my two favorite books of all time ...of this genre. So they are a tough act to follow but I have to gauge this one by those other two. Same author, same general style of writing but ...just a different scenario, scene, situation, etc and it just didn't move me as much. This book puts Peretti in a class with other authors who write books of a similar nature whereas those other two put Peretti in a class all by himself.

(Just couldn't give this one 5 stars since it is so far behind the other two. If not for them I might have. A 3.5 is my actual opinion here.)

Definitely liked the book though ...loved it even but ...personally I'm looking for more books like the former two that I mentioned. Books that take you someplace that NONE of us have ever been. ...Not even in our wildest imaginations. A book that opens us up to pondering the possibilities of what may be actually taking place in the spiritual realm, how WE are viewed and what types of dialogues may be taking place.

So to the author ...please give us MORE of THAT!. Thankyou.
