3.0 out of 5 stars Super Reader
The conclusion to the trilogy, as Penelope, with one plan for the galaxy, and another leader, with another, come into conflict.

The Iceman, now an elderly man, has to decide if he should try and stop either of them. More agents with whacky names to be found here. He also wonders if he is a threat to a woman that can mold the future, why he is still alive.

This review is from: Prophet (Mass Market Paperback)
Penelope Bailey, known as The Soothsayer and The Oracle, has finally come into full command of her powers. While a religious fanatic proceeds with his methodical conquest of the galaxy, Penelope begins working on her own grand Plan. Her old nemesis, the Iceman, reluctantly leaves his home to track her down, and stop her before she can realize her designs. Peopled with great characters like The Gravedancer, The Silicon Kid, and many others, this book makes a great and satisfying conclusion to the Soothsayer/Oracle/Prophet trilogy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best series ever!, May 7, 2010
Me and many of my friends and family have read and re-read this entire series many times and never tire of mike resicks universe where little penelope comes slowly into the most powerful being in the entire universe. The Ice Man is truly one of best characters he has created.
