This is the first book I've read by Joyner. I've heard a lot of good things about his writing - and I must say this book surpassed everything I expected from it. Undoubtedly, Joyner has his finger on the spiritual pulse of the church and is on the cutting edge of prophetic teaching.

Not only does Joyner give prophetic warning and direction for the church in the near future, he also takes the time to subtlely address the growing need for the prophetic ministry and includes guidelines for operating in it. I, for one, have felt called to some aspect of prophetic ministry, and the contents of this book confirmed some of the revelation I have been graced to received from God and have encouraged me to continue my pursuit of God.

I would recommend this book to any and every church leader who is able to relate to or operate in contemporary prophecy. It is enlightening and sobering. The Holy Spirit through Joyner reveals very graphic and definite mandates for the future of the church and the world.

Very gripping and an extremely timely book for the church of the new millenium!

I am always on the lookout for a book that will build and encourage me as I travel down the road of service for Jesus and His kingdom. Rick Joyner challenges Christians to bare themselves before the Living Word and Spirit of God in preparation for what the Lord is about to do. Mr. Joyner shares what the Lord has spoken to him about these end-times, and by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, teaches and exhorts on how to be bold and how to be obedient to God. Being fully exposed before the Lamb of Perfection and Love may be painful at times, but it is the only way to enter into His fullness thereby becoming equipped and ready. This book does just that-it exposes hidden attitudes and such that unless confessed before the Lord, will be a snare in a believer's life. Also in the book is instruction on how to recognize the Lord's voice, recognize the enemy, and how to strategically use the weapons of our warfare both offensively and defensively to gain victory, all compelled by and through the love of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit is even now moving powerfully across this planet; are you ready? This book is not for the watery kneed, half-hearted, lukewarm Christian. But then again, maybe it is just what they need! A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE HUNGRY FOR THE LORD!

Rick Joyner has been given a heart to watch over the church, and this book points out many flaws, and strongpoints, that we need to focus on. The impressive thing is, Prophet Joyner does this without mentioning names or movements when they could be viewed in a destructive way. Mr. Joyner biblically handles correction of the believers, and he has a vision of where the church is headed. Church, hear what the spirit is SAYING!

If you are looking for meat and not milk, Rick Joyner has written the book for you. This book will challenge and draw you to honestly face and deal with your weaknesses, help you prepare for difficult days to come, and encourage you to turn your eyes to Jesus and follow Him faithfully. Only those serious about growing need open its pages.

This book is a must read for anyone who has a calling on their life. I read it through and and now re-reading it with my highlighter. Anyone who wants to walk closer to the Lord must read this.

Joyner has outdone himself this time.

God is showing us a preview of what is about to come !

In fact He is graceful enough to prepare us for the future. He does this by providing visionary people. Rick falls into this rank. What used to be blurry, this is book spread open a clearer plan of God. The prophetic insight balances between visions and teaching, thereby reinforcing truth that sets the church to the right course in completing the purpose of God. It highlights areas the church must avoid and areas the church must pursue. Rick turn on a loud volume on the kind of the Spirit required to accomplish the Will of God. A major part of this book deals with the corporate church and Rick is sincere enough to help set the parameters on how the church should move in the wake of many challenges arise from this new millennium.

Leadership is the determinant of breakthrough and success in ministry. God is serious about his leaders. The trademark of today's emerging leaders are predictable as their characteristic should be found consistent with biblical examples. This book tells you that the humble, teachable and above all, the most ordinary people are in the kiln process of preparation that will be used as God's vehicle of divine accomplishment. One of them would be sports men and women.

I find it thrilling where certain part of this book, especially when concerning vision reads like a futuristic movie. Since God is progressive in his ways of dealing with people, the visions enshrined in this book will help many to look out for potholes and avoid spiritual jerks when entering into His future paradigm. Church, lets hop in and go for another exciting ride !

I will stronglly recomend this book to every serious believer. This book help me understand BIBLE better. There are many great advices about how to deal with problems in our religious life. I love chapter 6 "Kowning God's Voice" and chapter 10 "The Religious Spirit".

If you have any doubt or curiousity about what is expected of churches and church-goers, and where this is all leading, you need to read this book. It is insightful, engrossing and on target.

This is a great book. Scripture is frequently quoted to support excellent and insightful views. The book was written just before Y2K and is remarkably correct in predicting what seems to be the current (2002) state of the US economy. If you are at all interested in the responsibilities and future of today's churches, this is a must read and must act guide.

This book is outstanding, I can't say enough about it. The wisdom Rick Joyner has is very special, and he shares this wisdom through many aspects of the Christian life. This book will challenge and prepare you for the days ahead. Highly recommended.
