The title is somehow confusing and deceptive.,

I am definitely not a scholar or for that matter an expert in literature. But as a simple reader and someone who is looking for certain subject titles to purchase through the web, reading this one, Prophets: The Assyrian Period, gave me the impression that the book was somehow relating to Assyrian history as a core matter of the book. It turned out to be all about the Israelites prophets in the period when the Assyrian Empire of antiquity was in power. The author could have had his title as such Prophets: from X to Y (indicating years as desired).
