Like the BDUs, you will find the threading on the buttons to be lacking, and wind up resewing a few over the years. I was surprised to find that these shorts have a zipper on the crotch line, which isn't a huge problem for me but they are a little tighter fitting because of it.
Fits Great, Small fits 28-30 waist.
REAL ATACS FG with adjustment tabs.
Just like the BDU PANTS. Drys fast, great for beach or swimming also.
Shorts received were great. Quality was excellent and fit was perfect. TOUGH constructed so I expect these to last a while.
I've worn the Rothco BDU shorts in the past and these are a step up. Actual heavy ripstop material, loose threads are at a minimum, buttons that don't need to be repaired after laundering and side pockets that you can fit your hands in.
A few points but not necessarily negatives:
-Material is stiff when new even after washing.
-Some sites list the BDU shorts as having drainage holes in the bellows pockets- I didn't have them on my shorts.
-Size:Medium fits exactly like a 33W so the adjustment tabs are useless unless I drop a few pounds and need to size down. If I was a size 34W (which at times I am if I'm still carrying my winter weight), I would need to size up to the Large as the Medium would be tight.

Size Large is huge; I have a 33-34 waist. Size Large will easily fit a 38 waist, maybe 40. Sent the L back and got the M. Still a little loose. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Arinbiorn
Seemingly rugged material, but the cut is horrible, pocket design is archaic. Save your money and buy a better productPublished 5 months ago by Dante McFiddleFaddle
