Editorial Reviews

Review

The writing ... is clear as a mountain stream, often quite beautiful. Her artist's eye sees the meaning--and she then finds feeling--in ordinary stuff.... Prospect is one of those books that reveal what is at total risk of imperceptibility in one's life, lying there, waiting to be discovered. -- The New York Times Book Review, Rebecca Pepper Sinkler

This review is from: Prospect (Paperback)
This book is the outstanding conclusion to Truitt's trilogy of journals. Her insights are luminous, her prose redolent of each thing she experiences. With her heart, our hearts leap and fall, break and rejoice. An amazing achievement, a possession for all time.
