A Most Excellent Offering By Ashley Hutchings & Friends, November 22, 2005

A wonderful collection of English folk tunes done in electrified folk-rock style by many of the same musicians who collaborated on Morris On, Son of Morris On, and so on. I particularly enjoy some of the tunes featuring ancient music virtuoso Philip Pickett playing Renaissance-period instruments on this disc. Also, check out his more recent CD entitled "The Bones of All Men", recorded in collaboration with Richard Thompson on electric guitar.
