I have had good success with this product. Has decreased my urinary symptoms dramatically. I initially took 2 pills per day, but am now on 1 per day and still getting good results. This product works well for prostatitis not caused by bacteria. But if your problem is inflammation without bacterial involvement, you might really like this stuff! It started to work within a few days for me! I tried less expensive over-the-counter Quercetin (the main ingredient of ProstaQ), but I went back to the ProstaQ -- works much better for me.

This is my second order of this product, and am truthfully enjoying continued results. My urologist is currently researching this product, as he was impressed at my last visit with my results. I am sharing it with a few friends for their trial. Highly recommended for prostatitis. It has truly worked for me.

I had gum infection and general malaise that would not go away. I insisted I had an infection, and antibiotics worked, but only as long as I stayed on them. In a day or two after I finished the course the symptoms would return. But the blood tests and the doctors kept saying I had no infection, while I became more and more debilitated. Finally, I found myself in the ER and ended up in a shouting match with the doctor who said the tests showed there was nothing wrong. He was as frustrated as I was. While in there, I noticed that I had some bladder pain and dysfunction, so I went to see my Mayo-trained and -practiced urologist.

My uro listened to my story, did a microscopic inspection of prostatic fluid, and discovered it was infected. He said that bacteria can "hide" in the prostate and escape detection by blood tests, but this is not necessarily widely known. He went on to say that he had patients who had good results from a herbal supplement, Prosta-Q, of which the key ingredient is quercetin. While waiting to get the Prosta-Q I took a liquid quercetin-only supplement from Source Natural, and it started to help right away. I found additional benefits for prostate function from Prosta-Q so used both, regularly but just as needed. If I start to get symptoms, I just increase the dose of Prosta-Q and quercetin, and also pay more attention to avoiding dietary irritants to the urinary tract. Since 2/2008 I always get control of symptoms of infection or inflammation without once resorting to an antibiotic. So I'm big fan of this herbal compound. I plan to try Q-Uro, the newer compound from Farr as a possible backup.

I've had chronic bacterial prostatitis for nearly 20 years and have had good relief when using products like this - quercetin in particular. I like this one because it contains a good combo of all the herbs that soothe the prostate. It also seems to help me keep off antibiotics for longer periods than when not taking it. But my experience is that there is no single therapy that keeps my prostatitis in control, but rather a cocktail of things - especially diet. Over the years, the condition has forced me to make major changes to my diet - like getting off meat, junk food, beer, and the whole list of things that are well documented in books about prostatitis. All of the ingredients in this product are mentioned in some of these books - especially those mentioning a holistic approach to relieving symptoms.

Had what I thought was a urinary tract infection that would not go away. After several months of levaquin and some improvement with doxycyline (which has anti-inflammatory properties in addition to an antibiotic), I tried Prosta Q. For me, it improved my mildly painful urination and discomfort after the first capsule. I took it off and on, as needed through out a month and now am almost completely symptom free. I would recommend a trial of this product for any male who has tried antibiotics and still has some symptoms. It is worth a try.

I took 2 tablets a day for one month. This product did not help me.

Helps a great deal, but had to lower dosage to 1 every other day due to jaw discomfort, somehow irritates oral nerves, but has helped pelvic pain alot, and helped somewhat with painful urination, much better 2 months so far!

I don't want to over rate this product in any way so all I can do is state my experience. I am not able to take the prescription products as they are in the drug class that acts as a Alpha Blocker. Alpha Blockers cause my blood pressure to dip dangerously low and therefore I am not able to take them safely. I have tried several and one resulted in an ambulance and an ER bill that took me over a year to pay off. This product was recommended to me by my Urologist. He was confident that it would help me. He was right. In only a week my condition improved. I am feeling much better and the only change was taking this product (I only need 1 pill a day). My symptoms have not gone away but they have improved to the point that I am quite happy. Also, this product has been the first thing I have taken without side effects. Thank You.

I bought Prosta Q, hoping it would help my chronic prostatitis, however it had a weird side effect : it sent shooting pains in my gums up to my ear. Didn't get to try it past a couple of days.
