Reading the introduction alone could save thousands of lives and possibly prevent a great number of unnecessary procedures. Virtually nothing is omitted, from the different kinds of surgery to radiation to tests to medicines to diet. Everything seems accurate (except information on dietary cholesterol, which has since gone by the boards) and cleverly written. The book leaves nothing out except tips on how to find an experienced urologist. Recommended for popular medical collections.

There's no hype in this book. Just the facts -- facts about everything. This just isn't about prostate cancer, but about all prostate problems. What I find useful is the easy to read, question and answer format. Actually, they ask questions I've never thought about -- but should. Great book. I recommend it to every man.
