I am the Principal of a small business called Mindful Living Productions whose mission is promoting holistic health through the creative arts. I have found the Value Reflection Cards to be an essential business tool. As an educator, I've used the value cards with university students to help them identify their personal values in preparation for entering the job market. In inter-generational groups, I've seen the sharing of values bridge differences in ages and backgrounds. I intend to continue to use the cards in my workshops, retreats, and personal coaching to support a holistic approach to living and working. Research shows that when people are aligned with their values they are happier and more productive. The Value Reflection Cards help facilitate the vital conversations people need to have to make that alignment in their own lives. These cards are a "must have" for all of today's educators and business managers.

I discovered these wonderful cards almost a year ago and have continued to create new uses for them in my multiple enterprises. They served as a wonderful focus exercise during a Board Retreat that I designed; then proved to be invaluable as a teaching tool during an ethics class that I teach; lastly, I used them in an unanticipated manner during a recent coming-of-age ritual for an individual seeking clarification on life goals. In every instance, people responded with enormous enthusiasm to the prospect of "playing" their way to insight. I take the cards with me to use in a pinch when I need some fun activity to raise the energy of the group. I recommend them very highly!

Uses are limitless! I participated in a group where the Value Reflection Cards were used to demonstrate how people can quickly evaluate and determine their own core values and what is important to them as individuals. The group of about 30-40 professionals were deftly taken through an exercise of continually refining their `value' priorities along with a discussion of how those values related to work, work style, employee selection, motivation and retention issues, leadership and employer's core values. The session was engaging from start to finish and the Value Reflection Cards proved a very useful tool in getting energetic participation from everyone in the room.
