Nice board -- great price -- great feature with deep well -- works great with recipes from "Serious Barbeque" by Adam Perry Lang.

Beautiful wood but not as durable as I'd hoped...
The teak is gorgeous but even with a proper seasoning the wood is splintering (not cracking- it's just a very rough cutting surface)... Maybe that's normal in the first few months but I imagined a nice smooth cutting surface? I have reapplied several coats of mineral oil and am hoping that the wood will eventually end this shedding phase. I don't think I would buy this...

I use cutting boards of varying sizes every single day--every single meal, for veggie prep. Proteak makes some lovely options which are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified organic teak.
The cutting board itself is beautiful. I love the handle and find myself reaching for it every day. It covers the right half of my stove so if I am doing food prep (raw or cooked) it makes for a handy work space. When I'm done, I just rinse under warm water and go over it with a brush, dry it off and I'm ready for next time.

Looks great, easy to clean and the large drip basin really helps with all the cooking we do. Its used daily and we oil it about once a month... the trick is to keep it oiled and protected

Seemingly sturdy and well-made, but the main feature is its appearance--it has a prominent place on our granite countertop because it is simply lovely to look at--great purchase at the price, hope it lasts with proper care.
